Holiday rentals with a sauna in Sykkylven Municipality

We realy enjoyed our stay at Mariannes place. It was spacious, clean and right across the sea. Alnes is a great place to spend a couple days of of you like hiking, and the trail that goes to the top of the mountain is realy close to the house. We would definitely come back again.

Absolutely luxurious cosy cabin, stunning views with very close proximity to the slopes, chairlift and the gondola. Real down pillows and duvets elevated the whole experience at staying at the mountain cabin to a whole new level! We were met in person which created a nice and personal touch and easier check-in and the local produce and coffee which was left for us by the host was much appreciated. Great stay.

What an incredible gem, this was hands down our favorite place to stay during our trip in the country. The hosts were so exceptionally gracious, helpful and friendly. The house is immaculately clean, and we felt so welcome! It would be an honor to return if another opportunity arises.

What a wonderful home away from home for a long weekend! The house is part of two different worlds - one the rural Norway of the past and the other very much the present. Being on a working dairy farm also made us reflect on the sources of our food and how much we take for granted day-to-day. We enjoyed convenient access to kayaking, hiking, cruising the fjord by ferry to Geiranger, and cooking local foods in the well-appointed kitchen. Special thanks to Synnove for fresh home-baked bread and sending on our way with slices of cake for the journey.

The pictures don't lie! I can't imagine a lovelier scene or a better place to appreciate it.This is a spacious, comfortable house above the fjord with lots of light and broad views both down and across the water. We were kept indoors for a couple of rainy days and still didn't feel cooped up. The house, at the end of the road, provides both peace and privacy. The nearby village of Saebo is small, but free of cruise ships and masses of tourists; larger communities are not distant for shopping, restaurants, and charging EVs. Per Ove could not have been a better host - I had lots of questions before we arrived, and he always answered promptly and fully. He was also ready to respond to any questions we had about the house and area while we were there. What most impressed me: he knew we were driving from Oslo and texted us while we were on the road to tell us that the usual route into Saebo (the one shown on our GPS guide) was closed, giving us the alternate route we would need to take.

We had a great stay at Silje’s place. She and her husband were great hosts. Very considerate and friendly. The house itself is in a stunning location with everything you need to feel right at home.

Vi leide huset for to ingeniører fra et av våre utenlandskontorer, for to uker og huset lå praktisk plassert i forhold til vårt kontor. Men for den som jakter på et sted for mer ferie/aktivt fritidsrelatert opphold, så ligger huset naturskjønt til, i et fredelig boligområde, har veldig gode fasiliteter, og tilbyr mye god plass for den som trenger det. Huseier opptrer veldig ryddig og hjelpsomt så kun positiv erfaring for vår del.

Andrea's house is very cozy and has a beautiful view in its ssurroundings. It is very close to the ferry port. We also did a day trip to Geiranger. Very good value for the price. Totally enjoyed out stay. Highly recommended.

Modernt, välstädat och välutrustat hus mitt bland höga och vackra snötäckta fjäll. Mycket vacker natur i området. Utmärkt utgångsläge för våra roadtrips runt om i Møre og Romsdal. Under våran vistelse var det väldigt lugnt och fridfullt på alla sätt. Kan verkligen rekommenderas.

Fantastisk og innholdsrikt hus med høy og moderne standard, samtidig som det beholder en gammel sjarm! Høns med ferske egg og snille griser i hagen var et stort bonus for oss. Vertene var behjelpelige og imøtekommende til våre behov. Vi kunne føle oss som hjemme med alle fasiliteter vi kunne ha trengt, både ute og inne. Håper å komme tilbake!

We had a great time at Eirik’s place. It’s a perfect location for activities in and around Ålesund. Eirik gave us some great hints, for example a hike on the Sukkertoppen. Up there you’ll get an amazing view on Ålesund and the beautiful and mighty mountain area around. A relaxed walk to the «Jugendstil» centre of Ålesund takes around 15 minutes. We highly recommend visiting the Jugendstilsenteret, Fiskerimuseet and of course Atlanterhavsparken - everything was huge fun and we learned a lot! If you’re not into walking; the bus stop is only 200 meters away. A special highlight was the private sauna. The kitchen has basic equipment and the flat was clean. Free parking in front of the house. We would definetly come back here. Thank you very much, Eirik!
