In the winter, the ski slopes are right outside the door, and it is a short driving distance to the Alpine resorts Sunnmørsalpene and Strandafjellet. The cabin is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy nice days in the mountains all year round. If you want excursions, it is a short drive to Ålesund, Geiranger, Slogen and other popular destinations.

Geiranger, Ålesund & Loen are two of several beautiful day trips that one can reach from here.

The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski-in/ski-out) and nice groomed cross country ski tracks and light rail are just nearby. The area otherwise has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice hikes in both summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy fishing license).
