Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Swansea

There were three generations staying in this lovely cottage. Everybody had a spacious room. The cottage was very well equipped with spare pillows, blankets, kitchen appliances (incl microwave) and extra condiments, coffee of all kinds etc. I walked every morning in the area, very peaceful and lots of flowers in the gardens. Great park just 2 blocks away. 10 min walk to the main street with shops and cafes. 10 min by car to CBD and really EASY drive via HWY... It is a central location for travelling further out of Hobart. There was a collection of books and enormous collection of DVDs. We had a great time and I would stay there again.

Absolutely magical stay at the Lobster Pot Cabin! This was hands down the cutest house we’ve ever stayed in. From the moment we arrived, everything was immaculate and spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and so thoughtfully prepared, right down to the linens and perfectly curated decor. Heidi has put so much love and attention into every detail, from the fully equipped kitchen to the helpful tips on where to go and what to see. It felt like we were experiencing the very heart of Tasmania. The welcome cheese and bubbles were such a thoughtful touch so thank you Heidi xx Heidi! I’ll admit, I shed a tear when we had to leave. A quiet and comfortable house. Comfy bed, well heated, very well equipped kitchen and comfortable lounge room. We enjoyed our stay here. The house had a very homely feeling with heaps of personal touches. The shower had plenty of hot water, although the shower cubicle was very small and a bit uncomfortable to use. Not a deal breaker for us but it would be more so for large people. The only other minor disappointment was the driveway. It is very steep and has a sharp turn to park outside the front door. We were driving a Ford Ranger with a double bike rack on the back and after a brief attempt to back down we aborted and parked on the street above the house. A normal car would probably be OK fitting down, or maybe we are just over cautious. These are only two minor things in a property that was otherwise excellent. The back deck is large, with a good covered outdoor setting, and the view down the back yard to the pond was delightful.

Place was a great house for the long weekend. Plenty of space, inside and out. Cooking and entertaining areas were well equipped. Walking distance to the beach and local cafe.

We absolutely loved staying at Conan’s place- we even got to see the Southern Lights from the beach near the property. It was one of the most spectacular Airbnbs we have ever stayed at & it had everything we needed. It was a perfect place to relax and escape from reality. We definitely would love to go back here one day.

Spent two nights at 20 Grosvenor Street and would very happily spend more. The cottage is tastefully done, cosy and has everything you will need. Very walkable to a host of places to eat and a stone's throw from Woolworths. If you are looking to stay in Sandy Bay this is ideal.

We had an amazing stay. The view from the Airbnb is incredible and the Airbnb is cosy, comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. The Airbnb is a short walk/ drive to many great beaches and 20 minute drive from cafes/restaurants. Highly recommend this Airbnb for a bay of fires visit.

My friends and I absolutely loved our stay at Sven & Tracy’s Grappa Court Penthouse! The apartment is exceptionally spacious, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The location is perfect for those wanting to explore North Hobart and surrounds. Sven and Tracy have been lovely hosts, so easy to deal with and all communication has been prompt and handled professionally. We would recommend this apartment to anyone, and would love to stay again sometime in the future!

We are 3 ladies who stayed at Sussex for 2 nights prior to doing the Three Capes Walk. The place was excellent for us, as we had 3 separate bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.. We had a lovely sitting area to sit and chat. Superb location Walking distance to the Salamanca and Ferry areas. The area felt safe. The bedrooms were quiet to sleep at night. Perfect for us. I would highly recommend this place to family and friends.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay, we both raved about how comfortable the bed was and we thought the doona was heavenly. It had a great location and was only a few minutes away from a lot of the launnie attractions

My only regret is staying just one night! What a comfortable, clean, modern space. The kitchen was beautiful and well stocked. The air conditioning worked very well in our very minor heat wave. Julian was clear with instructions on parking and accessing the building which I really appreciated. We will for sure be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Old School House. We traveled with a 5 month old who was very well catered for. The accomodation is charming, very comfortable and clean. Communication with the hosts was very responsive and clear, going above and beyond to ensure we had enjoyable stay. The accommodation is a 15 min walk down to Salamanca Place and Fishermans wharf providing easy access to shops and restaurants. Sandy Bay shops are about a 7 min walk. We will definitely stay again.

This place is amazing!! So beautifuly decorated with many personal touches and delicious home-made treats. Everything about it is spot on and in a beautiful, tranquil, country setting. Hosts are super friendly - we enjoyed our chats & walks through the gardens. Can highly recommend it... we hope to be back!

Miro and Edina were absolutely wonderful hosts; warm, friendly and very thoughtful. They were also very responsive with any communication in the lead up to our stay. The place was clean and very well appointed and the location was central to many of Hobart’s key attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone! Julie's property is the perfect base to explore all that Hobart has to offer! Julie really has thought about every little thing you could want from a little getaway. The water views were stunning to wake up to and the gentle sounds of the ocean waves were so relaxing as the sun went down. Bellerive is also a short drive from the main areas of Hobart so everything is within an easy reach. Would definitely recommend Julie's place to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway in Tassie!

We felt right at home when we stepped in the doors. The place is bright and spacious in the living room and kitchen areas. Very clean and the kitchen is well equipped. There were plenty of places to sit for 6 of us and a lovely deck and outdoor seating also available. Plenty of hot water and the bedding are clean and comfy. Overall a great home to comeback to after a day of travelling around Hobart. The host is very friendly and reaches out very early to offer recommendations and assistance. Very close to Cascade Brewery and Mount Wellington. Highly recommended !

This is a fabulous period home with some gorgeous updates to kitchen/dining family rooms and upstairs primary bedroom and en-suite. The older parts of the house are very well maintained as well. Lots of home comforts here with ample kitchen wares to cook, a great coffee machine, brand new kitchen range, a full laundry room, and loads of fun games to play both indoor as well as on the beautiful river-front lawn. Peta-Jane answered all our questions within a few minutes and was delightful to work with. I would not hesitate in any way to recommend this beautiful home and the lovely owner :)

We loved it. It felt like arriving at home. The garden is magnificient, the plants inside are stunning. The kitchen is extremely well equipped to cook. The fire place is gorgeous. We have a great time.

For a large group of mountain bikers, this place was perfect. Close to trails and eateries, plenty of room to share the house or find private areas to relax. Great storage and facilities for all the bikes. Everyone enjoyed their stay.

The most perfect accom in Bicheno. Such a fabulous space & felt so like home. Cannot wait to come back. Look no further for accom in the beautiful town of Bicheno.

I am almost beyond words. Our stay at Rob and Eliza's stunning home can only be described as pure magic. The house, the details, the grounds, the private access to the most incredible, breathtaking and awe-inspiring view has left all of us recharged and in love with this beautiful location and home. We did not want to leave to even see the sights. Climbing around on the beautiful rocks and admiring the view, it felt like we were ontop of the world. The home was exceptionally special, Rob and Eliza even had some items in the pantry and fridge - actually more than some and it absolutely MADE our stay (especially with two little ones and lots of hungry mouths). It just made the airbnb experience easy and so comfortable and special and it did not go unnoticed. We stayed after a wedding with our family and the brides and it was the ultimate place to unwind and breathe in. The kids found starfish, rock hopped for days and searched for wildlife. 200 out of 10. We will be back!

Wonderful stay, the property and grounds are amazing!! Hosts were super responsive and so helpful with my questions. They even helped connect us to some local services (ie babysitter and taxi). The industrial / farmhouse design was lovely. We were two couples with two small bubs. The only thing I’d call out for anyone travelling with children is the two ensuites open out to the rooms so hard to use the bathroom once your little one goes to sleep. Also need to bring blockout blinds as the en-suite windows don’t have blinds.
