Find peace in our simple and charming off-grid cottage deep in the forests of Värmland. The cottage is rustic but solid, cozy and functional. Get spring water from your own well, cook on an old-fashioned wood stove and get electricity from the cabin's small solar panel. Experience magical winter nights, sunrises over the ridge and warm, intense summers near a sandy beach lake just 2 km from the cottage. Cook over a fire, explore the forest, pick wild blueberries and mushrooms - and let the beautiful and raw Värmland take your breath away.

Spacious holiday home with lake plot. Completed in 2017 with a bright and open plan with all possible amenities. There is access to a boat and a lovely swimming jetty. Lake perfect for fishing! Charcoal grill is available to borrow for barbecue evenings that you can spend on a lovely deck with lake view. The house has a larger bedroom with a double bed and a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed with a larger bed at the bottom. In the loft, there is a regular bed as well as a comfortable mattress on the floor. A/C is available for hot days.

Welcome to insta @Frykstaladan. It is located 50 meters from the fairytale lake Fryken's southern end. This unique place has a style all its own that has emerged over the five years that we have been rebuilding the barn. High ceilings and plenty of space both inside and out. Everything is new and fresh. Perfect place for rest and recreation. It includes bicycles, kayaks and SUPs (2 of each) and the proximity to sports and outdoor life is good. FredrikLars farm at Nordmarksbergs Mansion

FredrikLars-gården adjacent to Nordmarksbergs Herrgård: 19th century or older. In this farm, the great inventor John Ericsson's grandfather Nils (b. 1747 – 1790) has lived. On a rock in the grounds of the farm, there should be a curtain with the name of Nils. Picture of this stone can be found in Värmlandsarkiv's photo archive on a picture from 1955 (photo Lennart Thelander, pictures SEVA_11229_36 and SEVA_11230-1), but has not been found in the present day. It's probably hidden by mortar that's been covered over the rocks.

Northern Värmland's Paradise

In the idyllic paradise of Sunnemo, you will find your apartment for a lovely stay. For many years we were in Gustavsfors, 20 kilometers north of Hagfors, with 2 apartments. We had the honor of welcoming guests from around the world during these amazing years. Recently we moved to Sunnemo, 20 kilometers south of Hagfors, next to 3 large lakes, which connect and thus become one of Värmland's largest lake collections. Do you enjoy fishing? This completely renovated bungalow is located in a quiet residential area in Hagfors and is equipped with all comforts, including a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. There is a new kitchen, bathroom with underfloor heating, good central heating and the house is well insulated. The house is quite central in Hagfors (about 5 minutes drive from the centre) and is also close to beautiful hiking area and about 10 minutes drive from beautiful seaside resorts. There is a large fenced backyard.

There is also an outside dining table, various chairs for chilling. Kids chairs and beds are available if needed. Electric car charging is also available at a small cost.

A beautiful place surrounded by forest and overlooking large meadows, pastures and a glittering lake. Lillstugan offers modern accommodation in inspiring surroundings. Hike, bike, barbecue and enjoy the sun on the patio, take a ride on the rowing boat, fish, sauna (35 Euro) and enjoy the outdoor shower. Here are many opportunities for wonderful moments!

Stay in our beautiful stuga (2022) with a traditional look and modern interior. Enjoy the unique sound of cranes, and spot a deer or moose in the backyard during Summer. Take a walk along the stream, and discover the different colours of trees in the Autumn. Explore the white world and the frozen lake in the Winter. And experience the awakening of nature during Spring. The stuga is suitable for max. 2 persons.

The cottage is situated in a undisturbed area with the most amazing view over the lake Fryken. About 300 metres from the beach and 2 km from restaurants, groceries store, railway station and gas station. In the cabin you'll find a cosy stove, shower and a small kitchen. I think you're really gonna enjoy just hanging out and relax on the farmyard.
