Monthly Rentals in Sugarloaf Mountain

Richard was a great host who was very attentive to our needs! We had a couple hiccups (washing machine died), but Richard had tried to fix it and had somebody come look at it right away! Unfortunately for Richard, the machine was not repairable. He was willing to take our laundry and have it cleaned or do whatever we wanted, but we only had a couple days left, so it wasn’t a big deal. He was great answering any questions or problems immediately! The area is beautiful also! Great guy.

We have stayed many places, and this was one of the best. I hesitated to book because we do not travel light- two adults, two teens, and two larger farm dogs, plus four horses for this trip. Juanita’s place was very comfortable for all of us and everyone had a great time. She is super friendly and accommodating to every request. We had a lovely time and will absolutely be back.

Timothy’s home is a convenient spot for adventuring in central-western MD, with its rolling hills and farms. It was quiet and peacefuI. I especially enjoyed sitting on the back deck and listening to the birds after a long day out. The bedroom was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and private. The bedroom felt a little stuffy in the afternoon/evening because the weather was quite warm. Unfortunately the windows lacked screens and couldn’t be opened. It would be great to have a fan available. I didn’t see Timothy while I was there but he was very responsive the few times I messaged him with a question or asked for a recommendation. I was able to keep some food in the fridge, which I appreciated. I would definitely return.

Patrick and Norma’s place was a great stay, very homestead worthy. It gave the feeling of a real Bed and Breakfast. They were very inviting and helpful. The dogs were a little clingy, so if you’re not ok with animals it not for you; but it’s to be expected. But other than that everything was great! Would return anytime, and may!😉
