Holiday houses in Strømsfoss

We are SO coming back. It was beautiful and lovely in winter, so we can't wait to see what it's like during the summer months :-)

Perfect apartment on an island in the Swedish lake. We were lucky enough to have the island all to ourselves for the stay. Wonderfully furnished apartment with every conceivable comfort. Good interior design, magical landscape and wonderfully quiet atmosphere. Arrival and departure by boat more than cool, as you actively leave everyday life behind and the vacation really starts when you enter the island. Simply wonderful. Very nice and caring Swedish host. Recommendation.

We enjoyed the house very much. Unfortunately, the weather was not so good. However, we were able to observe the nature magnificent through the windows from the house. Once we were lucky with the weather and were able to take a boat tour on the water with the Canadian.

A very cozy and atmospheric place. Everything is clean and peaceful. The house is heated with a wood-burning stove, which adds to the charm. However, for those sensitive to the smell of smoke, it might be a downside — the scent is present throughout the house. Our children actually saw it as a plus! Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for a quiet retreat in nature. The host is very welcoming.

We only stayed one night in Maries beautiful place, but we really enjoyed it very much! It was super clean and cozy and as described in the listing. The cottage is located on a private property, but is still very nicely placed off the edge of the forest, so you can enjoy absolute privacy. The area invites you to take great hikes. If you like nature, this is the place to be! I highly recommend Marie's little Stuga. Thanks for your hospitality, dear Marie! 🥰

Wow! What a perfect place to relax. Cozy cottage. Chris is very helpful and responds to messages quickly. I will gladly come back and recommend to my friends.

We had a lovely weekend at Annikka's place! A very charming house, in a super location. Big plus it is right by a nice forest where we even found chanterelle that we had for lunch. Our 5 year old daughter also got a very cozy horseback ride around on the farm. Recommended!

The house is in a lovely location and the place offers tranquility right by the water. Clean, tidy and tidy. Easy to thrive. Robert was easy to communicate with along the way.
