Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Strasbourg

We recently stayed at this beautiful home with our family of six, including a 4-year-old, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! This property is tucked away in the scenic Alsatian countryside. It is spacious, welcoming, and full of character, making it an ideal place for a relaxing getaway. The living area was one of the highlights for us—it’s filled with natural light thanks to the large windows that overlook the lush garden. We enjoyed spending time there. The layout of the house is perfect for larger groups, with five bedrooms and additional spaces that provided everyone plenty of privacy and comfort. The garden felt like a private retreat, offering a peaceful space to unwind and let the kids play freely. It was so refreshing to have access to such a quiet outdoor space, away from any disturbances.

We felt very comfortable as a family with 7 people and a dog in this half-timbered house. The house is very cozy and has everything you need. Only the beds are too soft for those with sensitive backs. The two hosts are very friendly and accommodating. The courtyard is completely enclosed so the dog could run around freely. Excellent accommodation, I would recommend it. Thanks again Wolfgang. If I can just make an improvement, there is a lack of storage for our belongings in 3 bedrooms of the accommodation.

We highly enjoyed our stay at Veronique's beautiful place. It was a great house for a weekend with seven friends, with lots of open space (kitchen & living room), a great view of the forest, very clean and useful utilities and spacious rooms to stay. I can only highly recommend this place!

We had a great time. Despite the bad weather, we were at least able to enjoy the fireplace. Thank you to our hosts who were very responsive and available.

We really enjoyed Melissa's lovely home. The small terrace was really appreciated in the garden and we were very quiet. The house is very well equipped and well heated and there is everything you need to cook. Congratulations on the decor and flowers in the garden and in the entrance. We recommend this lovely house as long as you have a vehicle.

More than excellent place to stay. We came to three friends to go to EuropaPark. Lorraine was able to adapt to our check-in times. The accommodation is sublime, the spa and sauna facilities at the top. We even spent a night under the stars, the garden was so nice. We will be back.

Michel awaited us personally and even brought us croissants in the morning. The appartment was extremly nicely arranged with a lot of taste. Don't expect luxury but very high quality.

We had a wonderful stay. Geny and Richard were exceptionally hospitable, kind, and considerate hosts who made us feel very welcome from the moment we arrived. The apartment is spacious, cozy, bright, impeccably clean, and very well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very nice welcome We got a real Kouglof to welcome us. And the best ways to Europapark and Strasbourg have been explained. Beds were good. Linens and towels provided. Dishwasher and washing machine too.

We had a wonderful Easter weekend at Matthias & Gitta's place. We were looking for a cozy, relaxing break on our trip to Blackforest National Park and the place was perfect for us. They were really responsive to our request for early check-in and recommendations and suggested good short trips to us. We felt comfortable from the moment we stepped in, where they had laid some Apfelsaft and Cookies for us. The place is HUGE! Far more rooms then we needed. Our daughter loved running around the house and playing with the toys and games available. Was really happy to see a nice carved Chessboard and Foosball (two of my favorite indoor games). The kitchen, too, is stocked with cooking essentials. The hosts keep their respectful distance, but were always available for any Qs/requests. Would definitely stay here again when we make our next trip in the area. Best, Hardik

We stayed at the apartment with our two small children (1.5 years and 3 months) and the grandparents. It was just wonderful for our older daughter to play with the many toys. The kitchen is well equipped, so we were also able to cater well. The apartment is wonderfully embedded in the lovingly maintained garden. Wonderful tranquility to relax. Good communication with nice Julia. We'd love to come back!

The accommodation is very convenient and very clean, there is absolutely nothing missing. Very close to EuropaPark and Rulantica. Right next to a bakery that sells very good pastries and sandwiches. Daniela is very nice and always ready to make our stay even more enjoyable, thanks for everything

Very nice villa in beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed the days with the family. Very friendly and nice hosts, communication easy, direct and always available. We would definitely come back and highly recommend the villa. With small children, caution is advised with the many stairs in and around the house.

We were a larger group and had a great stay all around! The welcome was extremely warm and friendly. The house has exceeded our expectations – it is very spacious, well equipped and offers a variety of ways to use. We all felt very comfortable and would love to come back any time. Absolutely recommended!

We spent three days at Eve's place as a group of friends. The house is really great, very well equipped and quietly located. Due to the proximity to the train station, you can reach Strasbourg by train in less than an hour. Eve is very friendly and will get back to you when you need anything. Highly recommend all in all.

Nice accommodation for visiting Christmas markets in the area. Easy motorway access. Bettina and Harald were accessible and responsive to all our inquiries and needs. Lovely area-worth an extended visit!

Beautiful house in a stunning location. Amazing views and so peaceful. We were also so lucky with the weather for the time of year, which helped us enjoy Aurelie's stunning place in Alsace. Many walks and cycles from the door - although not for the faint hearted, lots of up and down!

Everything was as described, in a peaceful and private environment with a polite hostess and all the listed amenities. Calming and relaxing experience. I highly recommended it and would definitely revisit it in the future! A great bonus for us was that pets were allowed and had a great time as well.

A beautiful region in all weather! nature hikes, tours, artisans, gastronomy, culture! The rental is superb, comfortable, well equipped, well arranged for a family with children, tastefully decorated and a superb view of the surrounding mountains. We're thrilled.
