The seaside resort of Altefähr is located on Germany's largest island of Rügen, on the Strelasund and connected almost all year round by ferry directly to the historic harbor town of Stralsund opposite. The house is part of the Sonnengarten vacation park, just two years old and with the most modern amenities. Our semi-detached house has over 80 square meters on two floors, making it the largest house type, with space for five people. Altefähr is a place for water sports, anglers, any form of active vacation - and beach.

Modern thatched cottage on the Focker Strom

We rent out our modern thatched-roof house, which was completed in 2017 and is picturesquely located directly on the Focker Stream. The furnishings are modern, in Scandinavian style and generously furnished. From now on, we will cover all Airbnb fees, which means that you as guests will no longer pay the 15% Airbnb service fees, but we will cover them. This change was made by Airbnb. We therefore had to increase our prices by this 15%. For you, this means: You have de facto NO price increase

Our exceptional and very spacious apartment (180 sqm) is located in a renovated attic in the heart of the old town. It offers plenty of space for 6 adults. The open ground floor with kitchen, living area, dining area, library, guest toilet and terrace invites you to relax. The upper floor houses 3 large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, as well as 1 additional bathroom. In two of the bedrooms, a baby crib or a folding bed for older children can be set up (€10/extra bed/night).

The Muscheltaucher vacation home (80 sqm) is a thatched-roof house with underfloor heating, a wood-burning stove, and a sauna (built in 2020). It offers upscale, tasteful, and cozy furnishings. A heat pump provides heating and hot water (green electricity from EWS Schönau). Wi-Fi and Netflix are provided free of charge. Animal-free non-smoking house. Not suitable for small children: The bedroom is on the upper floor and is only accessible via stairs without a safety gate.

Our very modern and spacious holiday apartment easily fits two to three people and with the booking of the additional bedroom even four people can be accommodated. Since the apartment is located in the center of the island, it is the perfect starting point to all attractions and hence the distance is always moderate. This holiday house, completed in September 2025, is in a quiet location in Stralsund/Devin, not far from the Strelasund. A small swimming beach as well as the spa park with spa house(restaurant) are within walking distance. A bus stop in the immediate vicinity allows convenient excursions to the old town of Stralsund. Southeast of Devin is the nature reserve "Peninsula Devin" and the Devin recreational area was newly created with about 17 km of hiking trails.
