Guesthouse holiday rentals in Stockholm County

Krister and his partner were great always open to talk about things. The location is perfect, regular busses and trains nearby to explore Stockholm and surrounds. We took Krister's advice and had dinner at the local restaurant, great food and service. For nature lovers like us, we loved the nearby forest nature reserves. One afternoon sitting on the patio outside there was a Roe deer lying down in the garden just meters away which made our afternoon the best, imagine that just 20 minutes by public transport from Stockholm, Sweden's capital. Great place to stay. Sorry Krister, we forgot to write in your guestbook.

All good, train station close to the house. Kayak included really a plus.

Das ein Zimmer Apartment über der Garage liegt nah von Stockholm und man gelangt mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln oder auch mit dem Auto gut dorthin. Die Küche ist ausreichend gut bestückt und um für fünf Personen Nudeln zu kochen kann man sich auch einen großen Topf bei den Gastgebern ausleihen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und so hatten wir einen schönen Aufenthalt vor den Toren der Stadt.

Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft! Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet, überall standen frische Blumen und die ganze Wohnung ist einfach gemütlich. Die Unterkunft enthält alles, was man braucht, die Küche und das Bad sind gut ausgestattet. Alles war sehr sauber. Erik&Frida haben eine sehr hilfreiche Google Maps Liste angelegt, mit Dingen, die man in der Region unternehmen kann. An einem Tag haben sie uns sogar Fahrräder ausgeliehen. Zur Bushaltestelle muss man 10 min laufen, dann ist man in 20 min in Stockholm und kommt auch leicht zu vielen anderen Orten im Archipel. Aber auch das schlechte Wetter konnten wir in dieser gemütlichen Unterkunft gut überstehen. Die Unterkunft ist nur zu empfehlen.

Mysig liten stuga med de bekvämligheter man behöver. Sköna sängar. Lugnt och tyst. Fin utsikt. Fint badrum. Fin promenad till centrum. Trevliga och tillmötesgående värdar.

Very nice and cozy stay if you want to explore Vaxholm area! 😊 The place was clean, had everything we needed and felt very cozy. It was great that we could just walk around the island and when we could borrow the bikes for free to explore Vaxholm 🏝. Linda and her husband are very nice too, gave us lots of local tips and the communication was always very easy and fast. Can only recommend!

I enjoyed staying at Anna's guest house for a short time. It's located in a calm and peaceful neighborhood, which is so nice if you like quiet and privacy! 🥰 It's just a short walk to the store - 10 min or less - and not a long walk to the bus either! It is very clean and comfortable, and even has a washing machine, which is great if you don't pack too many clothes, like I usually do when traveling. I recommend staying here if you like to come home to calm when you travel!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour avec nos 2 filles dans le logement de Titti et Niclas. Le cadre, au bord de l'eau et parfaitement entretenu, est superbe ! L'accueil était très attentionné et bienveillant. Nous avons par ailleurs eu la chance de passer notre séjour au printemps, une belle et agréable expérience. Tolle Aussicht, sehr ruhig gelegen. Viele Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen in der Umgebung, wenn man ein Auto hat.

Vi hade en underbar vistelse i Josefines och Gustavs vackra torp! Vi kände oss hemma direkt och blev väl mottagna av Josefine när vi anlände. Allt är så fint och ordnat i det lilla torpet och solen strålar in härligt från alla fönster. Det är fridfulla omgivningar och man känner sig väldigt privat med den egna uteplatsen med utsikt över åkermark och skog. Sängen var superskön och köket hade allt vi behövde för att laga frukost, lunch och middag under våra tre dagar i torpet. Att kunna låna cyklar är guld värt och gör att man enkelt kan utforska omgivningar. Caféet i närheten av huset erbjuder lsocialt liv och underbara bakverk om man behöver lite av den varan. Vi hade dock svårt att komma ut och lämna torpet många gånger just för att huset i sig inger ett sådant lugn och bjuder på sån vacker utsikt. Vi kommer gärna tillbaka snart igen!

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour chez Katja lors de notre traversée des îles de Stockholm. Katja est une hôte idéale qui nous a été très réactive lors de nos échanges. Le logement est confortable et bien placé. Je recommande cette petite cabane au milieu de l'archipel de Stockholm

Vi bodde i stugan under tre veckor mellan våra flyttar och det var toppen! Fint och lugnt läge, fin altan med grill, och allt vi behövde fanns i stugan. Bra kommunikation med värden. Vi är mycket nöjda!

Ett mysigt sommarhus mitt i naturen – lugnt, fridfullt och med fågelkvitter i bakgrunden. Perfekt för avkoppling! Extra plus för att sängkläder och handdukar ingick, och att det fanns både bastu och grilltillbehör. Bekväma sängar och mysig miljö. Rekommenderas varmt!

Dieses Häuschen im Stockholmer Schärengarten war ein absoluter Glücksgriff für mich! Es liegt in der Nähe der Bushaltestelle und ist deshalb sehr gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zu erreichen. Die Lage im Grünen ist einfach traumhaft und man hat viele Möglichkeiten, etwas in der Natur zu unternehmen oder einfach nur auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und den Garten zu genießen. Die Unterkunft ist klein, aber unheimlich gut ausgestattet (sogar ein Geschirrspüler) und sehr gemütlich. In dem Bett habe ich einen Monat wie auf Wolken geschlafen. Christina war sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer gut erreichbar. Sollte ich wieder mal in die Gegend kommen, würde ich das Häuschen wieder mieten.

We had a super pleasant stay close to the beach. The cottage was very nice with a close walking distance to the beach. It was also very cozy and private. The area was beautiful. Linnea was a great host too- kind, helpful and available. I will definitely rent this one again!

Wunderschöne kleine Unterkunft, alles ist ganz neu und hat einen sehr guten Standard. In der Umgebung gibt es verschiedene Runden für einen Hundespaziergang direkt ab der Haustür. Uppsala ist nicht weit, auch einen Wochenendausflug nach Stockholm liegt nahe. In der Umgebung gibt es einige kleine Cafés, die Martin empfehlen kann. Unbedingt sollte man bei Svelato ein Eis essen! Eine sehr liebe Familie :)

Amazing place ! Everything you need to feel right at home ! Definitely recommend to all couples who would like a weekend or trip getaway !

Tolles, kleines, sehr sauberes Häuschen. Alles in top Zustand. Ruhige, wunderbare Gegend. Genau richtig für 2 Personen. Gutes Bett und schöne Einrichtung. Die Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was für Frühstück nötig ist. Die Kommunikation mit Kalle war einfach, die nötigen Infos kamen rechtzeitig. Klare Empfehlung von meiner Frau und mir. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder, falls wir wieder in der Gegend sind.

Host accommodations and location were great! Highly recommend. This is really a little house (everything inside seemed like new) with great appliances and everything you need to enjoy your time at home while visiting Stockholm. It’s a 15 minute walk to a town center with shopping, groceries and public transportation. If you take the train downtown it’s another 15 minutes. Location and neighborhood are upscale and safe.

Little bit far away from the Stockholm city area but it’s a good place to escape from the busy. Chill and cozy vibre. Good place to go if you need some peace. But the host should be friendly remind that there’s limited supply of hot water.

Ideal location in a beautiful setting to explore the local area and Stockholm. Hennie was friendly. Comfortable and clean. We didn’t want to leave! Hoping to visit again!
