The location is simply unbeatable—with private access to Loch Lomond, which made it really easy to explore the Loch in Kayaks. The hosts were wonderful, providing everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Their thoughtful touches made all the difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better getaway and would highly recommend the Boat House to anyone looking for a memorable stay near Loch Lomond. Great Lodge, comfortable, clean and beautiful location. My brother enjoyed kayaking on the Loch and there's a lovely pub five mins away at the hotel next door. My little boy was very sad to leave the cabin! There were quite a lot of midgies but this was just due to the change in weather and to be expected. Thanks for a great stay!

Lovely lakeside property, ideal for family. Clean and well maintained, 2 bed rooms, well stocked kitchen, comfortable heating. Very proactive and communicative host. Two areas of improvement. 1. Access to food in the neighborhood was a challenge, there's only one pub with limited food options. Menu provided in the property was dated and not catered to. 2. There's only a washing machine but no dryer in the property. Overall though, a wonderful property and made for a great stay, we would go there again.

I travel full-time for work and this is easily one of the nicest places I’ve stayed. Pali & Harry are friendly and proactive. The place has a personal touches that you don’t often see. You can tell they are really care. Location is fantastic. Views from the porch are beautiful. Comfortable beds and an uncommonly well-equipped kitchen. No complaints, and would recommend without hesitation!

David was very welcoming and made it easy to contact him if there were any problems. Parking space in the drive right outside the front door. The room was warm and it was pleasant to have cotton sheets.

Final stay on our Scottish road trip and a fantastic way to finish the holiday. Accommodation was fantastic, lots of room, beautiful views and appreciated the reclining sofa chairs after a long walk. Would very much recommend.

The cottage was perfect in every way. It was very clean and comfortable and the views were stunning. The cottage provided everything that you need and Millie was very kind in providing a few extra treats. The location was superb to get around to Loch Lomond and Loch Long. We would definitely like to visit again. Millie was a great host and we would like to say thank you.

Celia was an incredible host, her place is beautiful. We had such a peaceful trip, with lovely views - will definitely be booking in again.

Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. The chalet is part of a holiday park with other similar chalets nearby, but it’s well laid out and you can see glimpses of Loch Lomond from the windows and balcony. The chalet is beautifully appointed and very cosy, with lots of space. The dishwasher works well and saved us some effort! The park is at the end of a long track - it’s very well surfaced so not hard to drive. It does make the whole area very quiet and tranquil. Alisdair is very helpful and communicative - a really good host. An excellent base for a Loch Lomond holiday.

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The house is beautiful and in a great location right next to the water. Everything is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The views over the water are so relaxing. The Kilcreggan cafe and The Creggans pub serve lovely food. The decking area outside is great to sit and relax. Highly recommend!

If you have need to be on Rosneath peninsula, or near the boatyards, The Clachan is a very good option. Right next to Coop for supplies, clean, warm, and as described. Usable broadband if you need it - as good as you’ll get anywhere on the peninsula! Great comms from Emma & James. This our second visit, and still good as before.

Decided to go here at last minute with my mum and my kids since the sun was shining. We used to visit cloch caravan park with my late grandma so gourock has lovely memories for us. With the fees, this place was slightly dearer than I would normally pay for 1 night but it was a one off. Kelly gave us clear instructions for parking and she called to make sure we were ok, which was very helpful. There were quite a few steps including the spiral ones which my mum has a childhood fear of but they were manageable and we settled in for the night. The flat was modern, spacious and clean. We loved the huge windows with the light streaming in and the sea views ❤️ We loved the extras ie shampoo etc. We had the chippy and sat at the bay window and watched the world go by. The pub music below was noisy as were the folks leaving at 1:30am, but they were gone by 2ish. That didn’t bother us at all. Only complaint was the noisy lodger in the flat downstairs with his loud voice & music until 4am.

This apartment was really well equipped with all essentials available. It was very clean, very quiet and an amazing location. It was incredibly convenient for walking around Gourock and getting a train to Glasgow. We’d recommend highly. Thanks 👍

We had a great stay in Mansefield House and would really recommend it to everyone!! It was perfect for our trip, all of our guests loved their stay and the beautiful views. Very well located for our hike up the cobbler, whilst the wide range of games were a nice surprise for when we had a wet afternoon.

We would highly recommend this place. The house was really great - as it appears in the pictures and description but the views are even better in person. The place was very well taken care of and spotless. The hosts - Graham and Liz - were some of the nicest hosts we have ever had. We had issues opening the front gate due to a setting on our international phones but Liz stayed on the phone with us late at night as we worked through our issue. Graham was extremely nice as well. He gave us a brief tour around and is one of the nicest hosts out there

Wow...stunning location on the banks of Loch Tay we had a truly memorable stay at the lodge and everything we needed was at hand. The host Nina was in regular contact before our stay and made us feel welcome. Thankyou.

We stayed in Luss at the Strone in June 2025. We were a party of 9 adults, to celebrate an 80th birthday, a 21st birthday and a silver wedding. We found the house to be as advertised, and the pictures do not do this house justice. Colette had left a cake and drinks for our arrival, which was a nice touch. All the rooms are very comfortable and well equipped with everything you need. The garden was a great space, with plenty of outdoor furniture and activities. We had many competitive games of table tennis. The house is in the heart of the village, and a short stroll to the Loch. Thanks to Colette for her hospitality, and sharing her beautiful home.

Had an amazing few days and the Scottish weather could not have been better. Cottage has the most amazing views. The lounge/cinema room is so relaxing. Great garden for our dogs to play and easy access to loch where we did some paddle boarding and even had a seal swimming along side us. Would love to visit again!
