The listing was as described. It was clean comfortable and had all we needed. Ann Marie gave great directions and offered a timely response. Check in and out were easy. Many restaurants and stores were within walking distance. We enjoyed our stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at this penthouse in Balloch. Christine was so welcoming—accommodating us on short notice and meeting us at the door, which made us feel instantly at home and well taken care of. The place itself was beautifully designed—modern, stylish, and spotless, with a bright and airy feel that made settling in effortless. Every little detail had been thoughtfully considered, and it was clear that a lot of care had gone into making it a comfortable and inviting space. The views from the top floor were incredible. We often found ourselves just sitting in the lounge, watching the weather shift like a changing canvas of colours—rainclouds rolling over the mountains were mesmerizing. It was a truly special stay, and we’d love to return.

The flat was clean, comfortable and quiet, and centrally located. The host was easy to communicate with, and we appreciated his flexibility for an early check-in. We would stay there again. Thank you, Willie!

We were very impressed and would definitely highly recommend this space. Before we even arrived we were sent detailed information about anything we might need to know which actually came in very handy. We used the recommended parking lot which was very convenient and inexpensive. The flat itself was well organized and thought out. The sleek design made good use of space and we were very comfortable. We’d absolutely stay again.

We had a fabulous stay, wish we could have stayed longer. I’d particularly recommend to friends groups booking for a trip away together. Perfect location and beautiful spacious house.

June’s place felt like home to me, it was lovely to sit around and watch tv (there was BBC iplayer already logged in) and a nice kitchen to cook in as well! Beds were comfy and the master bedroom was very spacious. The dining table is a bit small and can only sit 2 at a time, but we made do and used the coffee table instead which was nice to sit around and watch the telly while we ate. Parking is really easy as well. The apartment is on the first floor (you have to climb one flight of stairs, the main apartment entrance leads to the Ground floor, not the first). Co-op is also nearby! So you can grab dinner essentials really easily as well. Will recommend and stay again for sure!!

just got back from our stay with Philipp and Mel. It was most relaxing break. Peaceful countryside views from the windows. We had a short ride to the whisky distillery (20 minutes drive by car) to be part of an organised tour, and (30 minutes to Loch Katrine) for sail on the loch. Very enjoyable. Lots to do and see.

We had a great stay. Sandra went above and beyond…which I felt guilty about but she really helped us out tremendously. Because of her true selflessness we were able to do more sightseeing during our very brief stay in Stirling. The accommodations were perfect. The house manual (a page posted on bulletin board in kitchen) told us exactly about how to turn on water for both showers, where the trash needed to go, etc. The place was really quiet! A great place to stay in Callander. It is on the main road but isn't noisy, very handily right across from Tesco and 30 seconds round the back is access to the river (good for dog walking). We did drive past the parking spot at first but having a place to put the car is great. 8 minute drive to the bottom of Ben Ledi walk - which I would recommend. Very comfortable space big enough for 2 and a dog, had pans/knives/boards etc. Also had salt/pepper/oil which is helpful. Emma was responsive and kindly let us check out flexibly as noone else had booked in.

Beautiful apartment, very comfortable for 4 and super well appointed.. The location is very nice, close to shops with a great walk to do along the Lomond loch at the foot of the apartment. A small terrace is accessible in the building, we loved having breakfast there.

Beautiful and clean. Located only a few minutes walking from lots of restaurants and pubs!

We had a great time here. This was a birthday surprise for my cousin 70th birthday who has problems with mobility. Wendy communicated with me putting flowers, banners and a balloon to surprise her which was great. It was easy for my cousin to get around the property and the garden. Definitely would come back. Beautiful property in a stunning setting.

very spacious appartment with everything that you need

We had a wonderful week at the apartment in Stirling. It was a quiet location, walkable to everything even to train and bus stations when needed . We would definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay! The flat is in a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood but was close enough to Stirling castle, Loch Lomond, and not too far of a drive to Edinburgh either. The flat was clean and as pictured, and both beds were comfy. Jo was a very friendly and responsive host, and even left us a welcome breakfast package. We really appreciated her attention to detail. Highly recommend staying here!

This was a three-generation family holiday, revisiting my childhood home in Kilcreggan, and taking ferries to explore Isle of Bute and Dunoon and Benmore Garden. The heated seawater lido was a great find, and there were lovely walks along the promenades. The spacious house was warm and welcoming, and we loved sitting in the bay window. Wonderful evening skies. Lots of interesting local history.

This is a great place. Bob is very responsive. Easy to drive to and from. Felt like a home. We really appreciated that we communicated directly with the owner (Bob) who lives nearby. Much nicer than those corporate AirBnB places. There were a few glitches (WiFi had some issues), but Bob communicated quickly and we got everything resolved. We appreciated the real washer and separate dryer, so washing and drying took a normal (for us Americans) amount of time. Kitchen is well equiped. A smallish grocery store only one block away. For bigger shopping we went to the Waitrose, which is very nice. The apartment has lots of space. Stirling and Cambusbarron are charming. Felt close enough to have plenty to do and plenty of dining choices, but far enough away to be peaceful. There's a pub underneath. We were worried about noise, but it was never a problem. Highly recommend. Will stay there again if we are in the area.

This place was amazing, 5 of us stayed with plenty of room for all. The apartment was spotless and the decor was lovely. We all loved it. Very well equipped kitchen and bathroom, our host has thought of everything you might need. Would loved to have stayed longer and explored the surrounding area but due to other commitments this was not possible. This truely is a first class accommodation. Thank you.

What a charming little stay! It felt incredibly warm and homely, especially with the added comfort of electric blankets to take the edge off those chilly Scottish evenings. The touches of Scottish decor really helped immerse us in the spirit and beauty of the location—it truly felt like a slice of Scotland. The place had everything we could possibly need, from a well-equipped kitchen and bathroom to cozy bedrooms and a TV that made it feel just like home. It’s only a short walk into Balloch, surrounded by stunning scenery, yet tucked away enough to offer a sense of privacy and calm away from other tourists—perfect for unwinding. A truly beautiful spot with a wonderful, kind host. I've already made a mental note to come back again!

Great location to explore Crieff on foot. McRosty Park was great and kept the kids entertained for hours. Highly recommend Bannister's bagels for lunch. Salt beef was amazing. Catrina's place was spacious and comfortable.

We have a lovely stay! The farm was gorgeous and the apartment was so cozy and clean. Going to their cafe onsite is a must! We had breakfast and it was amazing. The location is close to their little town and sterling which was great! The hosts were so kind and helpful! I would definitely recommend.

We couldn’t have asked for a better week. Penny and Alex made for a seamless and most enjoyable trip. Any questions or information we required was answered by them or through the well laid out guest book provided in the unit. Would highly recommend this apartment for any one. There was more room and space than we even saw from the pictures and we felt right at home! We will be returning no doubt!
