Just row, silence, whizz over the pine crowns and burn the wood stove. Seldalen is an old spring sturgeon with a traditional, simple western Norwegian sturgeon cottage. Don't expect sun every day -nature is weather and you have to adapt to it! Walk from fjord to mountain, enjoy the vertical landscape and end the day with a refreshing bath in Huldrekulpen.

Light and power socket for charging phone. Done making bed. Easy access. Park in marked area, 1 km from the cabin. Mark on maps and in the location. Walk 1 km into the valley, along the gravel road. Ortnevik is on the south side of the beautiful Sognefjorden. With road access along the fjord from the west and ferry connection from Vik and Nordeide.

The cabin is heated in addition, there is a modern fireplace that provides fantastic heat. We'll be happy to help with trip suggestions, and other practical info. Stordalen is a Northwest entrance to Stølsheimen landscape conservation area. About 1.5 hours drive from Bergen. Grocery at Ostereidet, and at Haugsvær. Mountain lodge with dining. Easy access, parking 100 meters.

Magnificent view over the ocean

Experience spectacular views from the Bird Box, located at the top of Ørnhaugen on Langøy. From here you can enjoy a fantastic view all the way to the North Sea, with sunset on the horizon over Algrøy. When it blows on the ocean, you can see white sea spraying up islets and cut all the west to Løno. If you arrive by kayak or boat, you can walk to the bird box from the spring. The cabin is perfect for 2 people, but sofa bed makes it possible for 4 people. It will be tight. Located in a great nature area offgrid with little tourism. Great skiing and hiking opportunities. about 1000m and walk in the way. Great opportunities for small game hunting. Without running water and electricity. Such a beautiful cottage, right on the water. Left and right, nothing but water and nature. We have rarely seen anything so beautiful. Communication with Oystein was straightforward and easy. Since our navigation system misled us, Oystein helped us out of our predicament very quickly with patience. When we arrived, the heating was already on and it was cozy and warm. The bed was aligned with the window, so we had a perfect view of the fjord from there. The kitchen was very well equipped for our holiday needs. We prepared simple dishes every day. The attempt to shower with the cold fjord water worked great, but it is certainly not to everyone's taste. It was a great experience. Oystein has created a little paradise. It is absolutely recommended to visit this beautiful place and stay there for a few days or longer. We will be happy to come back. Sigrid and Achim
