Great place to stay

We celebrated Christmas in Stavanger with both children and grandchildren. The townhouse in nice surroundings was fully equipped, tidy, clean and worked absolutely perfectly for what we needed. The descriptions were correct, check in easy, the landlord nice and responded quickly if needed. Parking (with access to electric car charger) in separate parking basement was an absolute plus. Walking distance to the city center minimized the use of a car. Nice hiking trails nearby. Highly recommend the place.

We loved our stay at Christina’s house, the place was very cosy and clean, it had everything we needed and more. She really thought about everything. We loved the complimentary tea and coffee as well as the free charging of our rental EV. Communication and the clear instructions was great too. I can strongly recommend the place and would definitely stay here again!

We had a very peaceful and enjoyable stay at this Airbnb in Strand. The apartment is conveniently located just 10 minutes from the start of the Pulpit Rock hike, which was the highlight of our trip. The space was clean, well-equipped with all the essentials, and felt comfortable and cozy throughout our stay. We especially loved the patio – a perfect spot to relax and unwind when the weather is nice. Overall, a great experience and we’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Absolutely loved the place! I felt right at home and Susan even let me in 1 hr before check-in, which was life saving after a day of intense travelling. The bed was super comfortable and the blinds worked great to ensure I have a dark room during the short dark time at night. I had all amenities I needed - did laundry, cooked and washed dishes. There was a review that it wasn't that good of a place because it was on 1st floor and directly on the street.. Which is untrue. It is on the street, a very quiet one and behind a small parking. So except for few silhouettes in the window, I really had my privacy. Living room was spacious with confy sofa, TV with Netflix and YouTube. 7-10 min away from the train/bus station or harbour. I had a great stay at this Airbnb. The location is beautiful and secluded, offering a peaceful escape. The interior was even better than in the photos—very cozy and stylish. Anna, the host, was responsive and accommodating. She kindly allowed extra time for check-out, which made our departure more relaxed. Overall, I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable and quiet getaway.

The host was very friendly and actively helped me with my difficulties. It is located on a beautiful and secluded seaside, so you can spend a quiet time. It is also the best place to go to Freikestolen.

We had a great time staying here, the view is breathtaking. We had everything we needed for a two week+ stay here and would definitely stay here again 😊

I cannot emphasize enough how relaxing and splendid our experience was! We had an amazing time staying there for our honeymoon! The host and her husband were very kind, friendly, and hospitable. Even though we came during Christmas, they went out of their way to make us feel welcome! They even set us up a Christmas tree in the cabin and provided home-made snacks. There was plenty of fire wood, so we stayed nice and warm. The beds were so soft! The back four beds could easily fit two people each, for those who are wondering. If you stay with them, I highly recommend renting the sauna paired with swimming in the fresh water lake! The eggs from the chickens are delicious! The sheep are friendly. It was the coziest, most relaxing place we have ever stayed. We are so grateful to have been able to visit! It really made our honeymoon special. We hope to one day come back during the summer to see how the area differs, but we suspect it is spectacular at any point in the year.

Lise’s place exceeded our expectations. In the listing she notes that the upstairs is not yet fully renovated. That is true but it is mostly minor cosmetic things. The bed was very comfortable. We slept great. Everything but the beds is downstairs on the ground floor. The downstairs which has mostly been renovated is spacious and very comfortable. Having the ability to store our bike in the garage was a nice plus. The area around the house is breathtakingly beautiful. Don’t miss the walk to and through The Fairytale Forest (Eventyrskogen) - a truly unique Norwegian experience.

Great house in a lovely area, lots to do for adults and children. Perfect for families with children with animals. A little close to the railway line, but quickly got used to it. Really nice host who responded quickly.

beautiful views, nice shower, lots of space, furniture a bit old but comfortable. Good mattress. Nice TV. Cottage is located in a beautiful location with a different view with boats, fishermen every hour. In the village within walking distance a large supermarket, pizza restaurant, second hand shop. Would like to come back.

The stay at John's house was great. I was there with my family and we enjoyed the big house in nature. John and his wife are very friendly and kind. They even brought us fresh fruits from their garden. :)
