The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone on Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a landmark and the area is known as a sailing landmark along the coast. To the southwest you can see the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can travel there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

Recharge your batteries and enjoy peace and quiet, overlooking the beautiful Sognefjorden in our new Bungalow. Sleeps 4, but we recommend it for 2 people. Recommended to see in the nearby area: Old ruins from World War II. Rich island kingdom where you can walk all the way to the lighthouse. Gulatingsparken, 20 minutes by car. Bicycle paths. In the winter season you can experience the Northern Lights, or beautiful starry sky. The ferry goes across the fjord, and to Solund. (free ferry) Remember to shop before you arrive, there is no shop in Rutledal. Welcome :)

It is a short walk to the airport and city center, but you also have public transport right around the corner. Perfect for all types of trips to the city. Lakris, the house cat, is part of the home. She comes and goes through her own cat door and demands little from two-legged people. She has, like most cats, a peculiar personality and thrives best in her own company. We have to ask that the guests in Sørstrandvegen help to refill food and water.
