Monthly Rentals in Stanford in the Vale

We had a great two night stay at The Hideaway. Everything was spotless, clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We loved the peaceful location and the nice little touches like breakfast, lots of recommendations for places to go and a bottle of prosecco for celebrating a birthday were much appreciated! Really good communication, great directions & instructions. A really good place to stay, with a nice pub only a few minutes walk away.

I stayed at the flat for 5 weeks while I was completing my work training nearby in Kidlington. It was perfect for me as it was completely self contained & had everything I needed to feel safe & comfortable while I was studying. I want to thank Richard & his Dad for being so friendly & welcoming during my stay. Everyone at the pub was always friendly & Fly (the black lab) always barked her hello’s to me every day followed by lovely kisses. If I ever had any issues which was rare there was always help provided. I would 100% recommend this airbnb to anyone for a short term or long term stay! The only thing I would bear in mind is that there is no freezer if you are staying long term. Otherwise it was perfect, all the amenities worked great & the bed was sooooo comfy. All in all a great stay!

We had a fabulous two night stay over a weekend, The accommodation is pristine and has a very comfortable feel. We had everything we needed. The breakfast supplies and other goodies were a lovely surprise. The area is very quiet, just what we love. We followed the footpath around the corner from the accommodation and had a lovely walk to Uffington and back. We also walked White Horse Hill- we parked at the NT carpark- it was a misty morning so we didn't get a great view, a sunny day would be better. The area around the horse is roped off. We then carried on to walk along the Ridgeway trail for several miles and then came back along the road so we could walk through the villages. Faringdon Folly is about 2 miles away and well worth a visit, It's open on certain Sundays and cost £3 per adult to go inside. It is closing at the end of May 2025 for repointing work. I think it is closed for about 4 months. We would definitely stay here again.
