One of our 2 boutique, self-contained rooms set in the grounds of a Grade II listed cottage in the heart of Ashdon village, 10 mins away from Saffron Walden and 30 mins from Cambridge. Surrounded by beautiful countryside with lovely local walks & places of interest. A warm welcome at the village pub. Garden annexe-early check-in available

Our home is about 20 mins walk to town. There is an Indian restaurant & convenience shop across the road, Turkish restaurant, Chinese takeout & riverside restaurant within 10 mins. Take a lovely walk through Sudbury water meadows in to town. The annexe with outside decking is situated at the rear of our garden with access via stairs to a parking space(apologies but guests without satisfactory reviews will not be accepted) Sorry, no pets as we have a friendly cat and 2 dogs roaming the garden

Dynes Cottage at Finchingfield Holiday Cottages

A large thatched cottage dating back 400 yrs, Dynes Cottage is set in a complex of 3 houses & surrounded by beautiful countryside. With a private outdoor courtyard & a beautiful orchard, you can relax with the whole family. Sleeps 10. The cottage is just 1/2 a mile from Finchingfield, one of the prettiest villages in the country, with great pubs & tea rooms. The cottage is hosted by Catherine who lives on site. Acorn Cottage (4 bed) can be rented in conjunction with Dynes cottage.
