We felt very comfortable. Adrie was within easy reach at all times. For us with 2 dogs it was great, as we could explore many new paths on foot. The house was quiet and well equipped. For 8 people there was enough space in the common areas and the bedrooms are also a great size. We will be happy to come back.

Robert and Nienke's place was the perfect getaway from city life. The national forest and surrounding farm lands were picturesque. Their cottage was perfect for our family of five and dog. Spacious living area and comfortable beds.

Danielle, my husband Henk and I spent a nice, relaxed midweek in the forest cottage in Spier. The house was super clean, stylishly decorated, modern and yet cozy and homely. We felt at home. The house was extremely complete. You were always available, friendly and interested. The manual/description of the decor of the cottage and the equipment was perfect and very complete. Drenthe is a beautiful province, we walked wonderfully. We recommend the Drents Museum De Buitenplaats in Eelde: the buildings, the exhibition and especially the beautiful landscape garden. For the sake of fairness, I have to mention that we had snow almost every day and that turned everything into a fairy tale! So enjoy extra, also the wood-burning fireplace in the cottage. A stay where we quickly felt comfortable. We had our dog with us and she also thought it was a great location. Marc responds quickly and also asked in the interim if everything is as desired. A remotely involved owner. Check-in went smoothly and it is a quiet area with many hiking and biking opportunities.
