In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

Our ecological log cabin, built in 2022, is located on the edge of an oak grove on a 550 m high plateau called Oesterberge, in the middle of the Sauerland Nature Park. When furnishing, we placed special emphasis on stylish and comfortable furnishings. For hikers, mountain bikers, but also for families with children, it becomes a small paradise. Located on the edge of our farm, guests of all ages can experience pure nature, tranquility and spectacular views.

Tiefenthal guest house

It is a cottage on a farm in the Palatinate Forest Biosphere Reserve, in the middle of the Leiningerland. In addition to our beautiful hut, we offer insight into our poultry and fish farming. The cabin is equipped with modern and tried-and-tested amenities. It has a fridge and freezer, dishwasher, shower, TV, hot water and a wood-burning kitchen stove. From the terrace you can look out over the carp pond and have a spectacular view with great sunsets.

This cozily furnished Scandinavian wooden cabin in Willingen-Bömighausen will delight you. Surrounded by forest, meadows and pastures, this charming cabin is not only suitable for recreation and relaxation. In addition to its ideal starting point for hiking (directly on the Uplandsteig), cycling and excursions to the beautiful region, it is only a few kilometers away from the Willingen ski area. Dogs are welcome! (€30 fee per stay)

Situated 3.5 km from the picturesque village of Eersel, on the very edge of the forest, lies B&B De Zandhoef. This beautiful cottage can accommodate up to 4 guests. You have access to your own private 6 person Jacuzzi. There are mountain-bike and hiking trails starting in our back yard and you are more than welcome to rent our e-MTB or MTB to try these out. Sun, snow, rain, a good book, your bike, and good company—coziness is guaranteed in this cottage! The view is truly amazing :-) Discount if you rent for a week. Saturdays are light gray because you cannot arrive on that day.
