What a cool place to stay! Very rural so you won't find many activities in the area unless you just want to enjoy the cats that are insistent for your attention! :-) We found the place easily with the instructions given, made it inside without any issues, and then immediately the kitties were waiting at the door to make sure we knew they were there to be greeted! The space is fun and very unique. The amenities are perfect and what we needed was provided. Be aware that the bed is in a loft upstairs and the bathroom and kitchen is downstairs - so you'll need to be able to get up and down those "half-spiral" stairs a few times. A cozy space big enough for the two of us for a one overnight honeymoon stay on our way to Colorado. We enjoyed our stay and would consider staying again our next time we head west!

We very much enjoyed our stay at José's place. It was very roomy, which was nice for us as we were traveling with e-bikes and needed room to safely store them inside. The bed was very comfortable and the whole place was extremely clean. The kitchen was pretty well-equipped and we were able to make some nice breakfasts during our stay. There is plenty of parking right in front of the door, which made loading and unloading very easy. José was very responsive and answered within minutes when we contacted him. In all, a very pleasant stay.

I loved it here - drove on my way to Vermont from Santa Fe. Gorgeous sunset and incredibly quiet, peaceful setting. So many birds! My dogs and I took a run miles down the secluded dirt road in the morning and didn’t see a single car. It was perfect. Beware of horses that come up pretty close, especially if you have dogs (like mine!) that aren’t that great with them. That was on me, I should have been more aware. Also, use Apple Maps, not Google, to navigate. I was taken to a place about 15 mins away that was wrong. Awesome place overall. Well worth it. Would stay again. And I slept great!
