Recently built, my self-contained house in Fitzgerald is modern and family-friendly. It is 5 minutes from the Tyenna river and a magic spot for fishing and watching Platypus. I'm also less than 5 minutes from the Maydena Mountain Bike Park. Also MT Field and National Park are a 10 minute drive. Stay in and prepare meals or have dinner at the Mountain Bike Park (check their socials for opening times). As well, the visitors center at MT Field has a stylish and comprehensive cafe.

Bush surrounds, stunning views of the Huon River & Hartz mountains. Beaches, bushwalking, markets, relax by the fire or on the deck & admire the view. Markets every week in the valley, including the Cygnet market 1st & 3rd Sunday of the mth, Willie Smith's Artisan & Farmers Market every Saturday, 10-1.

We are situated 1 hour drive from Hobart, on the Huon River Estuary. The ambience of the property is a secluded, rural, actual waterfront acreage. Guests may enjoy the pebble beach and rock pools together with the private jetty for fishing. We have a secure fenced area adjacent to the chalet suitable for well-behaved pets. (At the owners discretion) Please make contact with us prior to confirming your booking to discuss the pet you intend to bring.

Farm stay at Lowana, Strahan

A charming hobby farm just 10 minutes from Strahan's center. Our delightful menagerie includes sheep, alpacas, chickens, and a friendly goat. We hope you enjoy your stay here at Stoney Creek We live next door to the cabin, but it has a separate entrance. It is a private space, but we are a stones throw away. We are on hand to help as much as you would like.
