Holiday rentals with lake access in Southwest

the house was stunning, nice and super clean! it was so lovely as photos. the host was very responsive and there were full kitchen utensils a all we need. we were there later evening and did not know where to get some food, but there were some frozen food, packs of noodle and cereals. we were so pleased and really thankful to the host that they have provided some emergency food for the guests. we really recommend this place , and will definitely stay here again! cheers

Great place to stay

Wonderful cottage beside the water. We had a few relaxing days enjoying the cottage. Sitting on the deck, listening to the birds and the water of Deep Bay was a delight and a great way to unwind. Highly recommend for a quiet getaway.

We had a great time in Andy’s house, there was bread, milk and fruits when we got there, it was so sweet and kind! ( A local brewery as a gift as well, we love it!) The view of the house is gorgeous, we enjoyed it every morning with great sun light! Andy is responsible and helpful, we highly recommend it and it’s close to everywhere in Hobart with only 10-15 mins drive to downtown area.

A nice location that was pretty close to central Hobart, with a fantastic view of the city. Rob was always responsive when we needed help and the accommodation was as described. Thanks Rob for making our trip to Tasmania a great one!

A lovely spacious house with modern amenities in a quiet peaceful location. The house was clean and tidy and made for a comfortable stay, with a large kitchen and spacious living room area, all fitted out with high quality appliances and furniture. The front deck area is a lovely place to sit and enjoy the views, while taking in the serenity of the area. The location of the property made it feel very private and relaxing, even with other properties around. The house is surrounded by bushland, with walking trails out the back, and the local wallabies and deer visited early morning and evening, and the local birdlife was ever present. It's an easy drive to travel around to the various lakes, and take in the scenery, and overall it's a fantastic area to get away from it all. Kate was a great Host, replying to any queries quickly, and was friendly and accommodating.

Check in was easy and Grev was friendly and helpful. Cozy house in a beautiful location.

We just love this guest house on Abel’s Bay! This felt just like home to us, full of books, shells, collectibles etc. It was private and oh so quiet. We enjoyed sneak peaks of the pademelons hopping about. Sean being a birder enjoyed the bird life too. We were very comfortable at the cottage and hated to leave. Thank you so much for sharing it with us. We likely will never make it back, but we will always have fond memories of you home.

We have stayed in many Airbnb properties in multiple countries, but Terry and Vanessa’s place is certainly on top. Not only was the Lark Suite exactly as described and photographed, but it had those extra touches provided by the hosts that make it stand out from the crowd. The kitchen was the most fully stocked of any AirBnb we have ever stayed in. For most people, you would not need to shop for the next day’s breakfast. There was granola, orange juice, milk, a loaf of bread, more than a dozen eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, jam, butter,, and more. And if that was not enough, when you book, Terry asks you if you prefer a red or white Tasmanian wine, which is in the unit on arrival, and also whiskey. And I would be remiss if I did not mention the cookies in the fridge, as well as the locally made chocolate truffles. All in all, it is a great place to stray while exploring all that Hobart has to offer, and the hosts go more than the extra mile to make everything perfect and welcoming.

You can tell Jill has put a lot of thought into ensuring her place is comfortable and has many amenities provided for guests。 She personally came to greet us when we arrived and also before we left. The bedroom is a bit chilly but the bed is so comfortable and has electric blankets - it was hard leaving the bed the next morning! It’s also very close to a nice waterfront walking trail. The slope to the house is rather steep but parking was relatively easy. Would recommend!

Very quiet, relaxing & cozy stay with a beautiful view on the water from the garden. 9 min away from the MONA & 15 min from the Bonorong wildlife sanctuary.

The place was beautiful, with nice finishes and modern furniture. Kitchen was very well-stocked, and the bathroom was in perfect order. Really appreciate the extra steps taken to provide an elevated experience.

A beautiful little hideaway in Oatlands. Beautifully set up with lots of decorative touches that made the place stand out. We appreciated the breakfast and pantry items left for us. Sophie was very responsive and friendly. We would stay here again!

The house was clean and tidy, an ideal location for a few nights

A very happy stay. Place was clean and warm. Comfy beds and a great spa bath the kids loved. Local walks and forest was amazing to experience. Looking forward to coming back sometime.

The Sailor is a yardarm ahead of the Captain - peaceful location- a home with luscious furnishings and well thought of added extras - cosy and warm, especially with the added option of a wood fire - a beautiful water view from the front verandah, sipping on a Tasmanian glass of red - an adjacent carport to park the car - it fulfilled all our needs - Thank you Lee, we have fully appreciated what you have put into the Sailor and the Sea, to make it a Home away from Home

A wonderful cottage, in character with its name and tranquil location. A slight mishap with the cleaning on arrival but the hosts got onto it straight away and were very professional about it. The ducks were a highlight. We would definitely come back to the Artist’s Cottage.
