Beachfront holiday rental in Southport

We loved being so close to the beach, the pool, and the pier. Pier bar drinks and service were great! We recommend the Bahama Mama and The Painkiller. The condo was very clean and inviting. The deck was perfect for our morning croissants and fresh fruit with coffee. We enjoyed watching the waves and listening to seabirds as they soared above the sea. Just a short drive to the Boardwalk gave us some great shopping and restaurants. We recommend Britt’s donuts. Don’t buy just one -cash only! Matthew was the perfect host! He answered my questions quickly and checked in to see if we needed anything. Perfect week for us to rest and relax!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at A Wave From it All, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights, and were able to enjoy the beach and the activities with no problem. The only downside was that the pool was unfortunately closed for our time here, and we had originally chose this place based on the fact that there was also a pool, however that isn’t something Jenna could control of course as they were doing construction on it; we did not know until we arrived. However, the restaurants and the boardwalk are all very close, as well as the beach access being right across from our house. We walked the pond most nights as well which was nice. Overall, we had a great experience here and will be staying again next year.

Great place to stay! Jarrod and his wife were very friendly and responsive with any questions on the app. They even let us check in early. Accommodating bikes was so thoughtful and fun for us as we biked to coffee places and lunch. We kayaked to palm tree island and that was so much fun! It’s also a great location to walk to the beach as well! The balcony was so peaceful in the morning and at night. 10/10 experience and first time vacationing to Wilmington. Will 100% come back!

Overall, this was a great experience. She had clear instructions and was very responsive. The place was a short walk from the beach and it was cute and cozy!

My family and I enjoyed our weekend at Skipper’s place. It was a nice area in a wonderful friendly neighborhood. The walk to the beach wasn’t very long and the place had all the amenities you could need. Would recommend to a couple staying in the area!

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Gorgeous views of the ocean, easy access to the beach, walk to grocery stores and restaurants. The bottom of the house is basically a big sandbox that our 4 year old and dog could play in all day. Peaceful and relaxing vacation. We’d stay here again!

We loved the location and as others have mentioned the bathroom is amazing. Perfect spot for a few days at the beach and we would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay here! The house instantly makes you feel at home. It was extremely clean and the perfect size for us (2 adults and a 50lb dog). The beach front access is directly off the back porch and seems to be a quieter part of the beach. We will definitely come back soon!

Beautiful condo with the boardwalk in walking distance and ocean front. Loved the rooftop lounge chairs, private and quiet. Pool was clean and relaxing. Will definitely be booking again!

Our 2025 Summer vacay to Carolina Beach was truly one for the record books. As a single girl dad of two (9/15) location is key. This condo is absolutely peak and checked all the boxes. Right on the beach on the 4th floor the family room/balcony sets the ultimate beach vibes the moment you walk in. My 9 year old and I woke up daily to walk the beach at sun rise, on our first morning it felt as if we had the beast ourselves. We saw dolphins as the sun was breaking the horizon and it was absolute magic. After the sunset we'd walk to the boardwalk to get Crush n Grind coffee and play their ring hook games. Followed by Britt's Donuts then back to the condo to wake the teenager. Everything is within walking distance and there is something for EVERYONE. We chartered a boat to shark tooth island with the incredible Captain Sheila's and Chloe with Island Time Water Tours. Found so many shark teeth that made core memories for a lifetime. A great place by the beach. Phenomenal view of the ocean with easy access to the beach. The descriptions matched perfectly. Place was spotless clean and contained all necessary amenities. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

We absolutely loved our week at Anne’s condo. It was not only beautifully decorated, but also very cozy and comfortable. Our favorite place to hang out was on the deck overlooking the beach and pool. The kitchen was amazing. Everything we needed was right there. The beds were so comfortable. Anne was extremely helpful in every way. She answered all my questions and provided lots of great helpful hints about where to visit and eat. It was an awesome first visit to Ocean Isle Beach and definitely not our last.

Mike was a great host and very communicative with check in and out instructions. The condo was perfect - perfect location, clean, and Mike has thought of all the extras (ceiling fans, hair dryers, sound machines, beach towels, beach chairs). We will definitely stay again when in Carolina Beach!

We had a fantastic week at John's place with our family for spring break. It is a quiet area of the island. The beach is just a few steps away and the view from the deck is beautiful. It was the perfect place for a family of four. We fell in love with Oak Island and hope to be back very soon!

Denise has thought of everything. Her condo is absolutely perfect, a very private and peaceful place. The pictures are accurate and in person it’s even better. My best friend and I have been going on beach trips for 9 years, so we have seen many beach houses. We know what we want and we FINALLY found one we are returning to next year for our 10th to celebrate 40 years of friendship. I can’t think of a better place for it. ♥️ Denise is very detailed with YOUR experience. She has literally thought of all your needs and the home is emasculate. I cannot say enough about this GEM. It was clean, modern, stocked and comfortable. The view was AMAZING. The privacy was incredible. A total reset from “adulting”. I cannot say enough except STAY HERE, STOP LOOKING! Our family of 4 loved our stay at the oceanfront bungalow! It was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I loved the modern updates and cute decor :) You can't beat the location and views! Gwynne and her team were super friendly and responsive. 10/10 recommend if you're looking for a place to stay in Oak Island and we will definitely be back one day :)

My family all loved Charlie’s house! It was a great layout for adults chatting around the kitchen bar while kids had room to play. Kitchen was well equipped and furniture was comfortable. Having the linens in plastic wrap was a nice touch and felt very clean and safe. The beach was really nice in front of the house. Climbing over the dunes gave us a good workout, but also gave us privacy from beach walkers, etc. Hoping to rent here again!

Donna's style and attention to detail make this place a showstopper. It was beautifully decorated and spotless. The communication was prompt, and we were so grateful. Unfortunately, my husband had booked a different place that looked like a good place for college kids to stay, and it was uncomfortable. We moved out and were fortunate that Donna's place was available. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen is immaculate. The dishes, pans, etc are all like new. We felt right at home. There was an outside closet downstairs with coolers, beach toys, and chairs to borrow. We highly recommend this Airbnb!

The space was even more beautiful, clean, and welcoming than the pictures depicted. I felt completely safe staying there with my young daughter. Parking and entry was super easy and convenient, and the location couldn’t be beat for beach time.

Our family has gone to Oak Island every year around Memorial Day for the last 6 years and we've always been looking for a spot that we can return to every year. Nothing has been quite right. Until we stayed here. This spot has everything we love. Right on the beach with easy access. Great layout with big beautiful windows. Something fun for the boys to play (air hockey). Really comfy beds. Very clean. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. It was great. We will definitely be back!

We loved the hammock house! It was so peaceful and beautiful. It was also very convenient to be able to walk to the beach easily and there were amazing restaurants and plenty to do nearby. We will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandy’s place. The house was clean, didn’t have a bad smell, and without stains. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cooking items we needed throughout our stay. We were steps away from the beach, which was great and the views were amazing. The house is located in a perfect spot. A couple miles from the point to view sunsets and 8 miles to restaurants and shops. The house is also located in between 2 public beach access points so the beach area behind the house was never busy with other beach goers. We appreciated the baby and kid items at the house for our family. Our only complaints were that the wifi wasn’t very fast, and the walk path to the beach was a little weedy. Overall this was the perfect house and beach spot for our family vacation. Check in and checkout instructions were simple and Sandy was very helpful when we had questions and easy to communicate with. We have already recommended this house to others and would love to go back.
