A self contained secluded luxury Shepherds Hut sleeps two near the Brecon Beacons national park with delightful valley views. Situated on a small working farm eight miles from Junction 49 at the western end of the M4. Enjoy the seclusion of the farm and walking opportunities in the area as well as the local attractions in East Carmarthenshire of castles, stately homes, gardens, local villages and towns. Further afield are the beaches and beauty spots of Swansea, the Gower and Pembrokeshire.

Shepherd's Rest

Shepherds Rest is a newly refurbished and charmingly decorated 2001 registered Iveco stock lorry. Originally used to transport sheep from farm to farm, before retiring from duties hence where the name Shepherds Rest has originated from. It has been given a new lease of life offering a slightly different glamping experience, creating a warm, cosy and inviting place to stay. Situated overlooking the Black Mountains at the Southern tip of the Brecon Beacons National park on a working hill farm.

You'll love this unique and romantic escape. Set in the midst of our woodland, at Glan Y Mor camping, our newest addition is private and secluded and yet with beautiful light and a direct view to the stars. Cosy and warm inside with a log burning stove, double bed and seating/ kitchenette area. Outside you’ll find your own firepit with hot plate for sitting out and watching the stars. Close to the popular Newgale beach, getaway from it all in our rural hideaway After a day exploring this beautiful area, kick back and relax in the wood fired hot tub or cuddle up in front of the wood burning stove on cosy evenings. The hut comes with a separate private composting toilet and hot shower block.

Vegetables home grown and available through summer months, pick your own raspberries June/ July. With have breathtaking views, dark skies, endless walks and bike tracks right on the doorstep.
