The Pink House

This lovely small cottage originally came into my family as a retirment home for my (then) 90 year old mother, Olive. She loved the place except for its original colour and so promptly painted it Pink. The house has many of her touches still in it, such as the cross stitch pictures framed on the walls. Nana Olive was well known through Tokoroa for her hospitality and warm welcome she offered at the Pink House, and we are delighted to continue this tradition.

We loved our three-night stay. The area is gorgeous and this place is lovely. Outdoor area is charming with a lovely rural view. The outdoor shower is nice and the outdoor bath exceptional. Both couples enjoyed two lovely nighttime soaks under the incredible starry sky. Helpful host and we appreciated the late checkout. Great tv for watch tennis, too!

Beautiful home on a nice quiet street. Very clean home and towels were provided. Big yard with a playground. Kitchen has everything you need to cook and dine. Also has a reading area with books just off the lounge area. Has a bath with a seperate shower. Plenty of double doors one of them opening to a semi enclosed patio at the back. Another going on to the front patio and one to the side garden. Would definitely book this property again.
