Family Cottage is one of 3 near our homestead on a family owned farm in the heart of Karapiro. It borders a country garden with native birds, beautiful roses that smell like grandma’s used to, and manicured lawns wrapped around a towering Copper Beech tree . From the moment guests approach along the tree lined driveway, to when they sit on their private hilltop cottage patio overlooking our rolling farm fields, or share a BBQ around the outdoor fire, we make sure they feel our hearty welcome.

Price is for entire house, or we have a couples rate for $420 - enquire to book. This is a stand-alone, 3-bedroom property. In the middle of a working dairy farm, you will find yourself in a beautiful, private and restful setting. The house has been designed with your ultimate comfort in mind with spacious bedrooms, bathrooms & living areas, tastefully decorated, a relaxing outdoor bath and all the amenities you could need. We also love to treat all our guests to home made & local produce.

Luxury Lakehouse at Takapoto Estate

Takapoto Estate, is a 600 acre property that sits on Lake Karapiro. A park that accommodates vineyards, a market garden, resident bees, a year round pantry for the birds of Maungatautari mountain, livestock, a horse breeding program, and equestrian training and competition facilities. All this sits in amongst swathes of rejuvenated bush and kilometres of walkways that take you on enchanted journeys and reveal tranquil vistas. The restoration of the land is the foundation of the project.

Bridgehaven Guesthouse

This peaceful location is a 2 min to Waikato River trails. We are on the reserve so you get a beautiful view of the domain to Maungatautari Mountain. Relax in the bath tub after a day on the trails or visiting the many nearby attractions. The Rhubarb Cafe is a few minutes walk. Arapuni Suspension Bridge is in front of the property, you can hear the river from the deck. Jones Landing, Lake Karapiro, Lake Arapuni, Maungatautari Mountain, and Blue Springs are all a short drive.
