Holiday rentals with breakfast in South Waikato District

Although our stay was only 13 hours due to a packed itinerary, this was easily one of the most memorable and welcoming places we’ve ever experienced. We were greeted with fresh bread, milk, orange juice, butter, and eggs—all waiting for us upon arrival, which was such a thoughtful touch. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the bathrooms spotless, and the entire home full of charm. Waking up to the stunning landscape the next morning took our breath away. We can’t wait to return—and next time, we’ll stay much longer!

I have traveled all around the world and have stayed in hundreds of Airbnbs and this one is simply top tier. From the moment we arrived we were amazed by the beauty and serenity of the property and truly felt like we had a luxury resort all to ourselves. We loved kayaking in the mornings and afternoon bike rides. Pictures or words don't do it justice, it must be experienced. The attention to detail and the provided food from the property were such a unique addition and my wife and I loved cooking at the house with all the meats, eggs and veggies that were organically sourced. It was so awesome and we couldn't have been happier and we can't wait to visit again!

This stay was everything I love about AirBnB. Lovely hosts, a beautiful quiet home in stunning surrounds and every little extra and thoughtful touch you could imagine. We had three nights here and found have happily stayed for a week. Perfectly set up for a family. And two lovely horses at the garden fence. Would happily recommend to anyone.

a very nice cottage in the country side. The cottage was spotless. The washroom was big and clean. The kitchen had everything you need and more. The bedroom was comfortable. The added bonus of the continental breakfast supplies was really nice. very close to Hobbiton thanks

Lesley greeted us and was just lovely. Told us about what there was to do in the area, including eateries. Just a hop skip and jump to the swing bridge was awesome. Beautifully clean and tidy.

If I could give more stars I would. Mort and April's place is one of the most stunning places I have ever been to. The photos honestly don't do it justice it is such a pristine, calm, peaceful place with the perfect amenities, the most cosy bed and a delectable shower (and that's not even getting into the bush walk, the vista and the spa pool!). I wish we hadn't made any plans in Cambridge and had just spent all of our time at the villa, it was truly magical. We were lucky enough to be blessed with perfect weather but I think even if it was raining it would still have been perfect. Will definitely be back!

The accommodation was clean, well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable visit. Communication with the hosts was smooth and responsive, which made check-in and the overall experience stress-free. Would definitely recommend to others and would be happy to stay here again. Frank was very nice and pleasant to deal with :)

Jeanette’s place is lovely, your room is just for your use and there is other space in your area and a deck area but really it feels like you are a guest in the house as you can use the lounge and kitchen and a delicious breakfast is provided. Your guest area is very private.
