Family-Friendly Home with Backyard Treehouse

Spend the day relaxing in the spacious backyard, playing in the tree house, or playing badminton. Gather around the piano in this safe, family-friendly traditional home, with three bedrooms (four beds/1 king, 2 queens, 1 full), and two bathrooms. Cook in the fully stocked kitchen; relax on the sofa; play a game of pool in the family room; or unwind outside, while BBQing with the family. There are three private bedrooms and an extra queen-size bed in the large Family Room. This is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with an extra outdoor shower. The family room has a twin bed, a sectional couch, and an 85" plasma TV. There is a large backyard and a patio with plenty of seating, a grill, a tree house, and an outdoor shower with hot water. The beds in the house follow: one king (upstairs bedroom), one queen (downstairs bedroom), one full (upstairs bedroom), one twin (family room), one twin rollaway (upstairs office), and one queen air bed. The home comfortably sleeps 7-10, depending on how many beds are shared. As an added security measure, there are security cameras around the outside of the home (but certainly not inside). The Rose Bowl Parade floats pass by right in front of the house on the evening of New Year's Eve. Join the neighborhood as they line the street and watch the floats pass by as they queue up for the Rose Bowl Parade that starts at 8 AM on New Year's Day. Guests will have full access to the entire house and yards. I am available 24/7/365 by texting or calling. I am available in person for any urgent and/or emergency situations. This home is in the beautiful, safe, family-oriented city of South Pasadena, known for its many trees, gardens, excellent schools, artists, and musicians. The Rose Parade is every New Year's Day & it passes by in front of the home the night before. The home is in walking distance to the Metro Gold Line, which goes directly to China Town and Union Station. Otherwise, it's easy to drive around the town of South Pasadena or walk to lots of cool restaurants and shops. The grocery stores--Vons, Bristol Farms, Whole Foods, and Trader Joe's--are all a 5-minute drive away. Arlington Garden is a 7-minute walk away and is a magical, community garden, especially enchanting for kids. Menchie's Frozen Yogurt shop on Mission is a fun place to take the kids! And Kids' Space, a children's interactive science museum, is at the Rose Bowl. The Norton Simon Museum is about a 15-minute walk away. The Rose Bowl headquarters is a 10-minute walk away. The Rose Bowl Parade passes right in front of the house on the night of every New Year's Eve as the floats head for Orange Grove Boulevard to line-up for the Rose Bowl Parade on New Year's morning. Join the neighborhood on New Year's Eve as everyone lines the street to get a first-hand glimpse of the floats as they pass by on their way to the Rose Bowl Parade queue on New Year's morning. There are lots of restaurants close-by on Mission Street and plenty of shopping and restaurants on Colorado Blvd/Old Town. This is a 3-bedroom, 2-bath home with an extra outdoor shower. This is a very bright and clean home with a big open front yard and a big private back yard for your group or family to enjoy. We have provided every amenity we can for your comfort and entertainment. There are 3 good sized bedrooms. All three bedrooms have new model Tempur-pedic Queen beds with motorized adjustments for raising the back and/or feet, premium linens, and new 4KTVs with ROKU, Netflix, Amazon, and premium Spectrum Cable. There is plenty of closet space in each room for your clothes and luggage. The house has new central air and heat with a smart thermostat plus new plumbing and large hot water heater for your comfort. You are free to set the temperature to your liking. In this location, Mother Nature’s tree canopy over the property ensures you will always be comfortable while enjoying plenty of the best California sunshine. The kitchen is well equipped for making a cake or a simple dinner whether you need to bake, fry, steam, stir fry, make perfect rice, or just microwave your leftovers, you’ll have what you need. Outside there is a gas grill and outdoor table with teak wood benches right off the kitchen steps in the side yard. The laundry room is fully stocked with washer and dryer, iron, ironing board, and cleaning supplies. If you are eating inside, the dining area is next to the kitchen through the swinging door. The dining room offers Turkish chairs and a reclaimed wood table and features floor to ceiling glass doors with a view of the mountains. When requested, additional beach gear and bikes are also an option but please let us know in advance so we can stage them for you! Park up to 3 cars in the driveway in front. More gated parking is available through the back gate as well. The back parking area is suitable for parking even a motor home or a boat. The house is in a laid-back neighborhood with great parks, shopping, a convention center, and restaurants all within a short drive away. The metro gold line is just a few blocks away and offers trains to Los Angeles. 210 Fwy and Gold Line train are a minute away. Uber rides are never more than a 3 minute wait. Our home is located on a boulevard and there is traffic and some traffic noise on the front porch. The home is on a huge lot set back far from the street so is quiet inside.

This private 500 sq. ft. studio apartment is the perfect place for a weekend getaway. This space comfortably fits 3 people, if you are happy to use the Milliard memory foam tri-fold mattress. If needing to do washing, a coin laundromat is .3 miles away from our home. I like to meet guests upon arrival to give access and a tour of the property, but sometimes this is not possible. My husband and I live in the main house and are available to offer any advice on local attractions. The den sits behind the main house In Altadena, a short drive from good coffee shops and restaurants. It's accessible enough to explore the many eclectic neighborhoods of LA. There are numerous neighborhood trails that are great for walking. Although public transportation is available, the closest bus and Gold Line stop are about 1-mile away. We highly recommend having a vehicle to drive, but if in doubt, Uber! There is a designated parking spot on our property for you, and there is plenty of street parking (no restrictions, no tickets)!

Comfortable art house 2b1b near rose bowl

Artist Shanguo Jia insists on the idea that art changes life. In his opinion, each Airbnb should give guests a different experience. Shanguo modernized the historic house built in 1940.The beautiful tropical rain forest wall painting is integrated with the lush plants outside the room. He arranged his collection of ancient furniture and lamps in the room, telling different stories. He also put a set of very precious "Year books" in the house to let guests know about the past.
