With own private walk-out entrance from back of the house, unit includes 2 BR's (one very small), full bath (shower, no tub), kitchen/family room & laundry room. Once outside, you're on 60 acres of rolling pasture + 17 acres of forest. There are cattle, sheep, chickens & dogs (+ a couple of barn cats & seasonal pigs.). Plenty of space for hiking & exploring.

The Cottage is a Artists boutique home that was specifically designed for Notre Dame -South Bend Visitors. It was remodeled in 2018 maintaining the home’s original architectural elements, but adding modern amenities and conveniences. Four Bedrooms, Two Bath, featuring an Outdoor Entertaining Area, Fire Pit, and BBQ. The Cottage comfortably accommodates up to eight. Please note we do not permit smoking, vaping inside the property, and due to Covid we do not permit parties on the property.

Mileage to ND Campus is 11.4. 15 Minutes to Elkhart Aquatic Center. Approx 20 Min to Four Winds Casino (Via the 20 Bi-pass) This Spring 2021 The Silk was chosen by AIRBNB as the 2d best place to stay in the greater South Bend-Mishawaka area. I close in January and February but re-open in March.
