Enjoy quiet days in a cozy cabin with a pleasant fireplace, a new wood-fired sauna and an outdoor tub (from May to October) that is perfect for relaxing after hikes in the mountains, cross-country skiing or a day in the countryside. The cabin is large, spacious and open. The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, by skis and by bike. There is a possibility of hunting and fishing. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of well-groomed ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine resorts in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes).

Cozy family friendly cabin at Hovden cabin field in Engerdal with views of the lake mountains. The cabin has a large fenced terrace with garden furniture, awning and gas grill in addition to the barbecue area with benches and fire pit on the upper side of the cabin. Rented to adult tenants are welcome to families with children. Dogs allow if it is washed and vacuumed well on departure. Final cleaning can be booked for 6 pm. Welcome to Mikkelbu, a sheltered family-friendly holiday home with plenty of space and good standard in proximity to nature with a private road. The cabin is located just 50 meters from a sheltered sandy beach and fishing lake with trout. The place is known for good fishing in summer and winter. There are also no visible neighboring cabins, the nearest cabin is about 300 meters away. The place was part of the renovation program "Adventurous renovation" in 2019 and has a very special atmosphere and great furnishings.

FISHING RIGHTS & POSSIBILITY TO RENT A BOAT BY APPOINTMENT. SUN FROM MORNING TO EVENING, WHEN IT COMES. THERE IS ONLY A CERAMIC STOVE TOP IN THE RORBUA.

Luxurious and modern cabin (built 2016) suitable for up to 5-6 guests who like dogs :-) Our dog, Mollie, usually runs freely around the property, and she likes to visit our guests. She loves both people and other pets. To keep the price low, we prefer that you bring your own bed linens and clean the cabin before you leave. These services can also be ordered from us in advance. Rendalen is a great area for nature lovers: mountain climbing, skiing, fishing, hunting, trekking and exploring.

The cabin is located 800 meters above sea level in Hovden cabin area in Engerdal with views of the Sølen Mountains. It was completed in 2021 and has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, as well as heating cables in the floor in the bathroom and in the hallway.
