This is the perfect cabin for two. Living room with wood-burning stove, kitchen with all necessary cooking and washing facilities, and a cosy bedroom with a bed, a private daybed, a coffee machine and a TV with Chromecast. The location and the area around the cabin are absolutely unique. Surrounded by large green areas, flowers, berries and fruit trees. Sandstrand and Svaberg are a small stone's throw away and as the closest and only neighbour you have a gazebo with a massage chair. Gammelbua on Stavøy

It's origins hidden in the unknown of history, this compact and cozy cabin was purposed as a post office and general store from the 1870s. Several details from this era have been kept, like its' original timber walls and ceiling. The cabin is on our beautiful Island of Stavøy, with lots of options for outdoors activities and in particular, fishing. If you are lucky, you might even be a part of the traditional wild salmon fishing every summer. Welcome!
