Barn accommodation in Sør-Sverige

A wonderful swedish experience! Actually, one should keep this little paradise to oneself as a secret tip and share it only with very good friends :) The location of Magnus' small loft is a dream, situated with a slightly elevated terrace, overlooking the legendary landscape of the archipelago and finding oneself in the midst of nature. The grounds of the accommodation are like Bullerbü, with a beautiful stylish Swedish house attached and old fruit trees as well.There are paddle boats and canoes as well as bicycles, so you can move around perfectly to explore the islands. The loft is very cozy with typical Nordic charm, very comfortable, good beds, and a modern shower. A small kitchenette helps to self-cater occasionally. Magnus and his wife are very warm and welcoming hosts who always had good answers to all our wishes and questions. Magnus is an expert in giving tips about the surroundings and other parts of the country. Definitely a vacation that couldn't have been more beautiful.

Cozy old farm with a beautiful beach in walking distance. Lots of nice smaller towns along the Swedish coast nearby and even a good forest 5 min drive away where we did trail running. Birgitta was responsive and helpful during our stay.

We had a very good time in Pias appartment. Everything, which we needed was nearby, Getterön offers many relaxing spots for bathing and Varberg is fine for rainy days. And Pia is very friendly : )

The house is unique. The compilation of the furniture and decorations creates a cozy atmosphere. We felt very comfortable right away. The large garden with the huge trampoline was the highlight for our children.

We had a lovely week in the tastefully converted barn, and were actually able to see a number of animals in the wild (incl. moose)! The surrounding area is very scenic. Our kids loved the garden to play in.

We’ve just returned from an amazing three-night stay, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience! The house is even more beautiful in person—charming, comfortable, and full of character. The property is absolutely stunning—peaceful and scenic, with great access to nature. It felt like a true getaway, yet still had all the modern comforts we needed. We especially loved the spacious kitchen and the secluded location—the farm at the end of the road. Maria and her husband were incredibly kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed and offering helpful local tips. They really made us feel welcome and at ease. Maria’s house is a perfect base if you want to explore the nearby Store Mosse National Park or simply get lost for an hour or two in the beautiful forests on the property. We’d come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a special and relaxing stay close to nature. Thank you so much for everything!

we slept three nights in July in Inger's fine "medical unit" nicely decorated with lots of ceiling height and light. lovely area with lots of nature very close by. Nice morning sun and sunset. Hemsen is not optimal with small children but nice enough if you are on an adult holiday

We had a wonderful time at Lina's farm cottage. The house felt spacious with an open floor plan on both floors and we had everything we needed. The house was very neat and clean. Wonderful country setting but still close to major attractions in the area. We would love to go there again!

My wife and I Had a great couple of days at Mostafa's place. The space is in a refinished section of their barn. Nice layout, nice design, really comfortable stay. It's a lovely spot in a mellow neighborhood, just a few minutes from the coast. Mostafa had tons of recommendations for where to eat and what to explore. Great meal right across the street. Great coffee, cafe just down the road. Great host, lovely part of the world, wish we had more time to hang.

So glad I found this cozy place. Fresh and modern while being rural, had charm and great views. The host couple were super nice and helpful. Plus on the edge of the orangery where you can brew coffee and hang out. There are also some books and games there. In addition, there are bicycles to borrow. Can highly recommend this peaceful place and will be happy to return!

New and fresh accommodation with hotel standard. Perfect for those of us who were five in the family. Made beds and towels for everyone was a big plus. Julia had really gone above and beyond to welcome us and was easy to communicate with.

We really enjoyed our stay. Marianne is a wonderful host.

Daniel personally welcomed us and welcomed us. We (6 adults, 3 infants) felt very comfortable on his farm on the edge of the nature reserve and surrounded by peace and quiet and were able to use the large garden perfectly. The house is cozy and well equipped. Highly recommend!

Super nice and uncomplicated hosts, extremely helpful and communicative. The apartment lacks nothing, especially the kitchen is fully equipped, so you can really cook. You can stand it well, even if the weather is worse :-)

This place is a magical farm - so beautifully decorated, with such wonderful taste wherever you look and sit. The owners are just so cool and interesting and it shows. The kitchen is rustic and incredible. I dont believe you can find a comparable place. The area is so peaceful, we were happy we stayed away from the northern summer crowds. The surrounding grounds are peaceful with long grains. The house has endless spaces to relax and think. We absolutely loved it. Perfect for larger groups.

We were received with open arms & a tour of the barn with a detailed briefing on all essential information for our stay, from first meeting to checkout we had an incredibly magical stay with everything needed for a lovely everyday life. The pool, sauna and jacuzzi were ready, the kitchen had everything to create a lovely tapas to make a long cook and the bedrooms were freshly bathed and ready. The decor & surroundings really gave another kind of peace to the souls during the stay and it felt like our home away from home, a place of calm and lovely energy where we got a really nice break from everyday life and a fantastic chance to recharge. Lotten & Ola have realized their dreams and built something as magical as they now share for others to experience and that's exactly what we're grateful for. Super happy with everything and can highly recommend you reading this to book this amazing home.

Absolutely recommended, very very nice place, we felt right at home and had a very warm welcome. Emma and Anders are extremely nice hosts, you can talk to them very well and can learn exciting information about the farm, the animals and the surroundings. The accommodation (a 140-year-old, former barn) is furnished with a lot of love for detail (a highlight was, for example, two fresh bouquets of flowers on the tables) and has a unique charisma. In the kitchen you will find everything you need to cook delicious food. You can get fresh eggs from the barn and watch and pet animals (dog, cat, sheep, chickens, turkey) and explore the beautiful Skåne from the property. The beach is about 5-7 minutes by car, a supermarket can also be reached in this time. Our children and us liked it very much there and we felt completely comfortable. We will be happy to come back. :)
