Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Søndre Nordstrand

I was there for 5 weeks. The view is very nice and you have your privacy. On foot you can get to a large shopping center quite quickly, there is everything your heart desires. In general, you can get by very well on foot. I didn't test the public transport. The host is very friendly and easy to talk to. He had offered to take me on a hike, which I also enjoyed. He gave plenty of tips on what to do in the area but also tips for longer trips. All in all, a very great 5 weeks.

Our family had a great stay at Shezana’s. The trampoline and yard was a highlight for the kids enjoying the longer Norwegian summer nights. The main level was the perfect hub for us all to gather and relax; plenty of seating, large dining table, and plenty of space for the 6 of us. The beds were comfy and everything was clean. The location was also perfect for us, a quick drive to the train into Oslo, Joker grocery store walking distance away, and just a great home base for our adventures.

It’s a very quiet place, great place to relax and still be connected to the city. Comfortable and liveable. Great place for travels with small animals as well.

Very cozy house, plenty of space but still intimate. The fjord view for breakfast was wonderful! Nice streets to walk in. Jeanette was the perfect host. Kitchen with what you need. Nice modern bathroom. We'll take the trip again ☺️

Very spacious and incredible view just like the pictures. Place was very clean. I dont know ifs bad luck or not but the tram that says it goes to city center was not was not fully operational at the time so basically we had take a bus to a tram station were it stops and a tram to the house so i think its better for guests who have a car as they have parking but other than that airbnb as a whole was great experience. I highly recommend

Henrik & Anders' accommodation is an absolute insider tip. Beautiful and quiet, located in nature and inside just a dream. Henrik and Anders are also very great hosts, always helpful and attentive. We extended one night at short notice, which was no problem at all. We would have preferred to have stayed much longer. A very clear recommendation

Me and my partner had a fantastic stay! The place was clean, cozy and exactly as described. The location was perfect, and everything we needed was right there. The best part was the host incredibly sweet, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. You can really tell they care about their guests. Highly recommend staying here!

Small studio in the basement with modern bathroom. Nicely decorated. Works well for overnight stay. Not much space for eating.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. Great location with easy train access to Oslo City center. There are grocery stores nearby that are open daily, even on weekends, which made shopping very convenient. The Neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful, offering a welcome break from the center oslo since it is far enough. The apartment is very beautiful and clean with everything you need for a long stay.

I had an incredible stay at Ida's place! Communication was quick and helpful and the apartment was sparkling clean and very comfortable. Location was perfect – close to public transportation and local attractions. I especially appreciated the small touches like the welcome snacks and a guide to nearby restaurants. I would definitely recommend Ida as a host and hope to stay again in the future!

Hector was a great communicator—friendly, responsive, and very helpful. He provided clear check-in instructions and assisted us promptly whenever we had any questions or uncertainties. The apartment was very clean, nicely furnished, and offered a wonderful view of Oslo from the balcony. Located on the 8th floor, it was quiet and had plenty of space for our family of four. We rented a car, so I can't speak for public transport, but it took us around 20–30 minutes to drive to the city centre. There was plenty of street parking available nearby, free of charhe and 1 min drive to the petrol station where you could charge your car. I definitely recommend Hector’s apartment, and if we travel to Oslo again, we’ll gladly book another stay there.

Had a great stay. Spend 2 months here and it had everything I needed for an extended stay. Nice and quiet area. The hosts were always quick to respond to questions.

Small but nice apartment with very friendly hosts. We walked through the greenery very nicely into the city centre of Oslo (5 km). Various destinations in Oslo are easily accessible by public transport. The proximity to Ekebergpark is also great. Easy parking and shopping nearby.

Great apartment. Good instructions. Easy to find. Convenient with a shop nearby. The only thing that was stupid was that there was not a single towel or kitchen towel available. Otherwise, absolutely great!

Recommended to everyone. A cozy, spacious apartment with a flexible and friendly host. You can have your morning coffee in a small seating area outside the house with morning sun and a view of the well-kept garden. Good hiking opportunities from the apartment.

Maria's home was a highlight in our Oslo trip, I don't think we could have found a better place to enjoy and explore our time in the city. The home is spotless, quiet, very comfortable, stylish, and comes with a million dollar view of the city. We enjoyed the outdoor space and watching the sunsets and the view of the water. The hosts were incredibly responsive, warm, and welcoming- they provided such detailed information that we greatly appreciated. We hope to be lucky enough to return and stay again one day.

Our stay with Martin was pleasant. The bed might have been a little firmer, but that's also the only thing that wasn't optimal. :) We'd love to come back next time we're in Oslo.

It was amazing and relaxing, the property is amazing Everything was like in the pictures, the shower/kitchen/bedroom/living room were amazing, Annie and Robert were warm and inviting people like old friends.... The neighbor is amazing, there is somewhere to walk in nature, there are shops within walking distance, it is an island of peace and nature within Oslo... A recommended place to stay for a few nights or more.... In short, I highly recommend this apartment.... I will definitely come again to stay with Annie and Robert when it is summer outside (I was in the winter when it was ice outside).... Yours mia

Great stay in the Bjorvika area. Very convenient having a supermarket and wine/liquor store in the complex. Easy to walk to restaurants, museums, central station. Beds comfortable, communication excellent. Only thing I’d change is to add black out curtains.

Fantastic apartment and fantastic view. Simple and fast communication, very flexible since I needed to extend the stay by one day. Clean everywhere, lovely bedding and a luxury bathroom! A really good experience! Thank you to the host.

I had the opportunity to stay for a business trip as all hotels were booked or overpriced. It is a very good place to stay for that purpose
