Your accommodation is the ideal starting point for the various routes of the European Cultural Hiking Trail throughout the Main Triangle. It is 15 km to Würzburg and about 3 km to Ochsenfurt. There is a direct train connection in about 500 m. The well-known wine region with the towns of Sommerhausen, Randersacker, Eibelstadt …. offers countless excursion possibilities...

Welcome to Apartment am Südhang! Our cozy apartment is perfect for families or small groups (1–6 guests). It offers three bedrooms, each with two single beds, blackout blinds, and a TV. The small kitchen is well equipped, and the bathroom features an almost walk-in shower. A dining table invites you to relax, and free Wi-Fi is available. Explore the charming town of Ochsenfurt by the Main River with its medieval flair. Note: the apartment is accessed via stairs. We look forward to hosting you!

Feel good in the vineyards in the 120 sqm vacation home

This listed and modernized vacation home awaits you in the heart of Sommerhausen. It offers space on approx. 120 square meters for a vacation for two or the whole family. The central location in the middle of the village offers the advantage of short distances (Main, vineyard, cafes, restaurants, shopping, public transport). On some weekends, due to the location on the old market square, our guests are right in the middle of our great wine festivals (for dates see pictures).

Accommodation in the heart of Lower Franconia

Enjoy the tranquillity of the countryside while still being close to the city of Würzburg! The apartment is located in Winterhausen, which is an ideal base for trips to the nearby vineyards or the River Main, whether for hiking, cycling or swimming in summer. The train station is just a minute away, and from there you can get to Würzburg by public transport every 30–60 minutes. So, experience the beautiful city of Würzburg – without the hassle of finding a parking space!

Old village church

The former village church is located in a 1,600 square meter property in the middle of the village of Erbshausen-Sulzwiesen. Surrounded on all sides, it is an ideal retreat without being "out of this world." In the morning sun in front of the sacristy, on the church wall in the afternoon or in the evening under fruit trees. In the lower tower room on the couch, in the upper tower room – the former bell room – while watching the birds. There is always a nice place.

Stay in the idyllic Mönchshof

In the middle of the old town, in a quiet street, our apartment is located on the ground floor with its own entrance. If bicycles are brought, they can be pushed through the large gate, which can be opened from the inside, into the courtyard. Please do not carry the bicycles through the apartment. Parking is only possible outside the city walls (about 2 minutes' walk). For loading and unloading, however, you can drive in front of the apartment.

Beautiful apartment from the 16th century

The 500-year-old house was completely renovated in 2021. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the sofa under an elaborately restored stucco ceiling from the Baroque period, take a look at the historical details that can be found throughout the apartment and feel completely at home in the lovingly furnished apartment. Two bedrooms with double bed and separate bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and only 2 minutes' walk from the river bank with swimming bay.

House "Nr.16" ground floor - fantastic view of Ochsenfurt

Receiving the charm of the 60s and reinterpreting from today's perspective, that was our wish when we extensively renovated our house "No. 16" together with our architects in 2017/18. The result is two sunny apartments on the southern slope of Ochsenfurt with a fantastic view of the Main Valley and the medieval old town. We look forward to hosting our vacation rentals in the 2019 architecture tours.

Vacation apartment in a new building

Welcome to our cozy and modern apartment. It is lovingly furnished with a mixture of modern and old. The apartment invites vacationers, bike tourists or professional commuters alike to linger. Ochsenfurt is located directly on the Main with many cycling and hiking trails. Some things are within easy reach. Also, shopping markets on foot (1.6km 22 min) and the medieval old town (2km 25min).

Our bright and spacious apartment is ready to host after the renovation of the barn. In two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a beautiful living, dining and cooking area you can enjoy your vacation. Whether by bike, on foot or by SUP, along the Main you can spend many beautiful hours. Also the cities of Würzburg and Rothenburg as well as countless small Franconian wine villages are nearby.

The Main and the Mainradweg are just a stone's throw from the house, and the train stop is within walking distance. Würzburg can be reached in 20 minutes by car. By train, you need 16 minutes to the main train station.
