Nice apartment in a new building in the wine-growing village of Ochsenfurt with a view of the Main and a balcony. A wonderful riverside location, right by the Maintal cycle path and various hiking trails. A bakery-café and a bus stop are within a 4-minute walk; a supermarket, the old Main Bridge and the Nixe Main ferry are about 10 minutes away. Ochsenfurt's old town, with its restaurants, romantic half-timbered houses and many towers, can be reached on foot along the Main River in about 15 minutes.

This listed and modernized vacation home awaits you in the heart of Sommerhausen. It offers space on approx. 120 square meters for a vacation for two or the whole family. The central location in the middle of the village offers the advantage of short distances (Main, vineyard, cafes, restaurants, shopping, public transport). On some weekends, due to the location on the old market square, our guests are right in the middle of our great wine festivals (for dates see pictures).

Stay in the idyllic Mönchshof

In the middle of the old town, in a quiet street, our apartment is located on the ground floor with its own entrance. If bicycles are brought, they can be pushed through the large gate, which can be opened from the inside, into the courtyard. Please do not carry the bicycles through the apartment. Parking is only possible outside the city walls (about 2 minutes' walk). For loading and unloading, however, you can drive in front of the apartment.

The 500-year-old house was completely renovated in 2021. Enjoy a relaxing evening on the sofa under an elaborately restored stucco ceiling from the Baroque period, take a look at the historical details that can be found throughout the apartment and feel completely at home in the lovingly furnished apartment. House "Nr.16" ground floor - fantastic view of Ochsenfurt

Receiving the charm of the 60s and reinterpreting from today's perspective, that was our wish when we extensively renovated our house "No. 16" together with our architects in 2017/18. The result is two sunny apartments on the southern slope of Ochsenfurt with a fantastic view of the Main Valley and the medieval old town. We look forward to hosting our vacation rentals in the 2019 architecture tours.
