A beautiful oasis on the outskirts Central Utrecht! It's very spacious and clean. I really enjoyed my morning cup of coffee taking in the beautiful view of the garden through the huge windows in the living room. Fleur and family were lovely and very helpful. We felt very welcome. The train station is an easy ten minute walk. Grocery stores are also in the vicinity of train station.

We loved our long weekend in Nieuwland. This is a tiny village so very quiet and peaceful, but just a few minutes drive from the motorway. The house was exactly as described and very comfortable for our group of 3 people. Everything worked great- lovely kitchen, powerful shower and a tv with a guest Netflix account. We were disappointed we didn't get a chance to sit outside in the courtyard due to the rain. We would happily return and would recommend to anyone who wants peace and quiet away from town. Thanks for hosting us Esther and Sam.

What a lovely time we had in this lovely and quiet house. Fantastic rural surroundings and the house is in an apple orchard. The cottage has all the comforts and the wifi is excellent. We stayed here for 4 weeks due to a renovation. Marc and Maria are cozy, friendly, quiet and interested people. We had a regular chat and if there was anything they were ready right away. They also have a nice dog Bear who always greeted us enthusiastically but didn't bark. You are within walking distance of the cozy village of Schoonhoven with many bars and restaurants. Furthermore, you are easy by bus in both Rotterdam and Utrecht. In short, a great place to be a time.

We were warmly welcomed by Klaas Jan. Refrigerator was well stocked and there were also some goodies present. The house, and certainly the kitchen, is equipped with every comfort. There was also a covered and enclosed area where we could store and charge our bikes. We sat outside on the banks of the Hollandse Ijssel, at the back of the house. The front is located on a busy provincial road, which is audible in the house and garden. The living room and kitchen (upstairs) are very spacious, downstairs, where the bedrooms are, it is just a little cramped for 3 adults. Also because the master bedroom is only accessible via the bathroom. In addition, there was no curtain/door at the bedstee to darken the daylight that comes through the skylight early in the morning. But all in all we had a very pleasant stay in this super luxurious AirBnB and we would highly recommend it, especially if you are only two!

We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the proximity to the animals. Gerline and her husband are great hosts and the accommodation is perfect as a starting point for excursions. Everything is available in the accommodation itself and nothing is missing, it was very clean and well maintained. Communication with Gerline was smooth and straightforward.

It is hard to find enough superlative words to describe our stay. It really is an exceptional property to stay in with the kindest, friendliest hosts. A complete experience in its own right. We had thought we would visit a UNESCO site but the surroundings were so pretty we decided to walk to Bergambacht instead. We only stayed two nights but wish we had booked for a lot longer.
