Right from the start Johnna made us feel like we had always known her! Very warm and hospitable. Flexible with check-in. The place was even more beautiful than the pictures could even capture. Stunning view. We love the quiet peaceful surroundings - no loud cars as you are set away from any main roads. Stargazing at night was breath taking on their beautiful deck. We enjoyed the swing downstairs, her comfy outdoor lay back chairs, and fun clamming tools they provided underneath the house! We loved sitting in the rocking chair in front of the BIG windows in the living area...the windows were our favorite part! She was so joyful, kind, and allowed us to feel settled and right at home while going through a difficult time personally. It was such a relief to feel like we were in goods hands, and staying somewhere we could trust and felt safe! This is the PERFECT place for a quiet time for yourself, or a fun time for your family. We will be recommending to everyone we know! 5 Stars!

Cute little place. My husband was there for work so did not get to enjoy the beach side much but very comfortable and isn’t to far from restaurants or other things to do. Would stay there again. And the host so sweet and fast at responding.

My husband, daughter and pet dog Mocha enjoyed our stay. We very much enjoyed visiting the Shackleford Banks and seeing the wild horses and dolphins. My daughter and I spent some time on their dock our last night and it was very peaceful, I only wish we took advantage of that more as well as maybe kayaking over to the little island across the way. My only fall back was I kept bumping my head on the walls of the apartment but I was the only one that had the issue, my husband ( who is taller) and daughter did not. Most likely my very own perception issue😜

Stunning view over Wade Creek. House & deck are new and we'll appointed. A quiet peaceful location with fantastic playground park within walking distance. Drive to Cape Hatteras lighthouse and beach, Fort Macon and beach. Expansive backyard for dogs, badminton, etc. Dock on Wade Creek you can tie up a boat or fish from. Very nice 2-3 mile walk for the dog. Planning a return maybe next year. Oh, very nice big activity room upstairs for kids/teens.
