Of course there are fish halls at the harbor where you can buy freshly caught fish, and the sale of fresh fish from the side of the fishing boats. Max. 20 minute by car to several amazing nordsealand golf clubs. Close to Denmark's second-largest forest area - Gribskov - National Royal North Zealand with the beautiful castles and magnificent scenes of nature with lakes, forests and beaches. Historically Gilleleje is an old fishing village and it was here that many Jews were transported to Sweden during World War II. Gilleleje Church was a waiting place for Jews until they could be transported. In 1943, 75 Jews were caught by the Gestapo on the church ceiling after a snitch had informed the Germans. Everywhere there are monuments of historical events. Every year there are various festivals in Gilleleje - "Hill" Festival, Harbour Festival, Jazz at the port and The Herring Day. We are 2 minutes from a beautiful view of Kullen, the harbor and the coast, as well as a 7-minute walk to the beach with a bridge, and thus a great opportunity for a morning dip! Follow the Fyrstien towards the old Gilleleje, or in the opposite direction towards Nakkehoved Lighthouse, from which there is a breathtaking view. It is possible to borrow a men's and women's bicycle, with gears. Older models!

Apartment in the countryside

Cozy holiday apartment in quiet surroundings on our four-acre property, just outside Smidstrup Strand in Gilleleje. Cozy living room with living room/kitchen, as well as stairs to the bedroom on the 1st floor. The stairs are steep and the apartment is therefore not suitable for children. In the courtyard, there is a little space for you, so you can also enjoy the outdoor environment here. PLEASE NOTE! On weekdays, there may be some activity on the property due to masonry work, when employees arrive, goods deliveries, etc. Motorcycles are welcome!

Annex in Helsinge overlooking fields and forests

This natural gem is located north of Helsinge in Kongernes Nordsjælland overlooking open fields and forests. It is 200 meters to the forest where there are good chances of going mushroom hunting or just taking a walk in the beautiful nature. It is very common for forest animals to walk right outside the windows. For example, it can be roe deer, fallow deer and red deer. You can charge your electric car with us. We have separate electricity meters, so you will be charged according to the daily rates found at other public charging stations.

Cozy courtyard and covered terrace as well as a nice enclosed garden. Gilleleje is one of North Zealand's most cozy towns with many cafes/restaurants.

Large, architect-designed cottage with 3 bedrooms and four double beds, a cozy living room, an open kitchen with a dishwasher, a bathroom, and a huge garden. There are multiple terraces, fruit trees,, swings, a trampoline and a grill. The small annex in the garden can be used as a shelter. The sand beach is just a short 700-meter walk away, and it is 5 km to Gilleleje and Rågeleje. Bikes can be borrowed by arrangement. The kitchen is stocked with oil, spices, coffee, and tea for your use.

Gilbjergstien B&B A lovely, bright cottage on Gilbjergstien with beautiful views of Kattegat, The Sound and Kullen. The cottage is set back in an old garden and has its own sunny veranda and terrace. In addition, you will have your own exit to Gilbjergstien, with direct access to the city and hiking trails along the sea. Leave your car. You won't need it anymore. The cottage is in walking distance to everything in Gilleleje. Enjoy the quiet evenings and watch the big ships sail by.

The old barbershop by the monastery

Esrum is a small quit village placed 50km outside Copenhagen. Esrum is beautiful situated next to one of Denmark greatest forest, Gribskov, and in working distance to Esrum Lake. Gribskov offers many outdoor activities, such as hiking, mountain biking, bird watching and much more. Esrum monastery is placed 100meter from the house, and offers museum and different activities. In the daytime there are a Café serving light dishes. Nearest grocery store is in the next village, 3km away.

The house is refurnished, and everything is welcoming and delicious. What you hear when you open the Balcony-doors, is the sound of the waves and the wind in the trees. The house is a 10-minute walk from the beach in connection with the beautiful Gilbjergsti, which leads into Gilleleje town. The house is 40 sqm with 10 sqm covered terrace. Nice, unspoiled backyard. Room for two adults and a child. Electricity consumption is charged at DKK 4 per kWh. Barbecue, fireplace and 2 bicycles can be used.

Relax with the whole family in this peaceful home. The house is on a scenic plot about 1000 meters from Udsholt Strand. Sleeps 4-5 adults and a small child. There is a nice atmosphere with high ceilings and large windows overlooking the garden with large old trees. The area has a nice wildlife and many birds. The house and grounds are child-friendly, outside with swing set, a small slide and a trampoline. No pets and no smoking allowed.
