Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Slotervaart

This is our third time staying at Tine’s cottage over the past nearly ten years. It feels like a home away from home. We love Tine and she treats everyone like family. In case you don’t know already, this cottage sits on a quiet street, with its own private parking, entrance, and privacy. It is a very short walk into the backside of Zaanse Schans by the Windmills. You can borrow one of Tine’s many bicycles or simply walk the flat peaceful lanes into the open air park and experience clogs making, cheesemaking, stroopwafels, historic homes and neighborhoods well preserved, shops and gifts, a museum, and the most beautiful intact and functioning windmills you’ll find anywhere in the area - plus much more. It’s only 7-8 minutes to the Zaanse Schans train station and a straight shot in 15 minutes on the train to Centraal Station. Also very easy to get to Keukenhof via train, car, bus, etc. Grocery stores and restaurants close by. Our favorite spot out of all we’ve stayed at in Holland!

We had a wonderful stay at the accommodation in Zandvoort. The apartment was exactly as described and in the photos – clean, cozy and very welcoming. We felt comfortable right from the beginning. The location is just perfect – close to the beach, town and yet quiet. Annette was a great host: very friendly, easily accessible and with great tips for the area. We will definitely be happy to come back!

Had a great stay. The house is beautiful with history which we found great. Esther was also very friendly and accommodating. We would stay here again.

A very warm welcome, a quaint cottage with everything we needed on a generous plot that we had access to all of it. Bus stop close by making it easy to visit Gouda and beautiful location. Conchita the host was very friendly but kept away but was easily found with information when we needed it. We were greeted in a very friendly manner, even drinks and nibbles were ready:) Karin is a great landlady, always available. The apartment is tastefully decorated, very clean and has a protected terrace. The location is beautiful, both the beach and the small town can be reached on foot in just over 20 minutes. We felt completely comfortable and would gladly come back.

Very nice and spacious house in a beautiful setting! Both nature and shopping in walking distance. Annemarie and Floris were friendly, quick to respond and gave us all the needed information. We enjoyed our stay.

My boyfriend, our four-legged friend and I stayed at Berrie's house for less than 5 days. It is a very nice little cottage with a mostly paved garden. The sun shines really nicely on the sitting area in the garden and invites you to linger. The living room is brighter and friendlier than it looks in the photos:) The beach can be reached in about an hour on foot.. by car it only takes less than 20 minutes. The public connection to Amsterdam includes a 15-minute walk to the train station and about 40 minutes by train, which takes you directly to the main train station. So if you are looking for a quiet beautiful area between Amsterdam and the beach, this is the place to be:) We highly recommend Berrie's house!

Great host and great place. Very special venue, extraordinarily peaceful and comfortable with beautiful surroundings explorable by boat. Thank you Erik for taking such great care of us and being so responsive.

Magda and Peter’s place was just as beautiful as promised. It was clean and comfortable, secure and private. Our hosts were helpful and responsive to our needs and requests. The fridge and cupboard was generously stocked on our arrival with enough food so we didn’t need to shop for a day or two. The suite fulfilled all of my husband and my needs for the month we were there. Highly recommend!

Tiny House was a lovely stay for our family! We’re travelling with 2 kids aged 5 and 2 so it can be a bit tricky booking somewhere that works, but this was a really nice stay for all of us. Rik was really friendly and responsive before and during our stay. Everywhere was clean, lots of thoughtful things like spare bags for shopping, ground coffee, toys for kiddos and the little ones got to feed the chickens and pig too - they loved it. We were going to head into Amsterdam but we ended up staying there for the day. There were some lovely hyacinth and tulip fields nearby, we got to bask in the pretty suntrap garden and as an added bonus we got to see the bloemencorso float by the house in the evening - we were all suitably impressed. Thanks Rik for a thoughtfully appointed and relaxing stay, would definitely recommend Tiny House for travellers with children.

We felt very comfortable in the garden house. It is nicely furnished and in good weather, the garden use is a dream. Only downside: the open toilet and shower in the bedroom and the missing sink in the bathroom. It takes some getting used to.

We spent one night on this sailing boat and had a fantastic experience. The boat was clean, fully equipped, and thoughtfully set up, providing all the comforts we needed. The unique setting made for a memorable stay. Highly recommended for a distinctive overnight experience!

This location offers exceptional privacy and tranquility. The hospitality is outstanding (10/10), and the premises are impeccably clean. We particularly appreciated the fresh, fragrant towels and the bathtub. The pool also appeared inviting, although the wind and cold prevented us from using it. We highly recommend this establishment.

Super nice place to stay with everything you need for a weekend with friends! By bus you are in beautiful Alkmaar in 15 minutes, where there are also many good restaurants and pubs. Otherwise, the villa is relatively remote and right on a highway. But nothing can be heard in the house. But it was relatively cold and difficult to get warm inside. The service was very good and always easily accessible (even later in the evening). All in all, it is highly recommended!

It is one of the most beautiful AirBnbs I have ever stayed in. It is so chic, so trendy, so tasteful and Beau is the best host. She was always responsive, was very flexible with the Check-In, because we stuck in traffic. Beau’s place is amazing. I’ve been there with my husband and my parents for a short trip to the Netherlands to see the Bloemencorso. You get everywhere real quick and having the beach just a short drive or a 15 mins walk away is amazing. Everything looks exactly like the pictures and the kitchen is well equipped to have breakfast, lunch or dinner at the most beautiful table. Thanks for everything Beau, if we come back to Noordwijk we will definitely stay at your beautiful house again. Best, Lena

Great place, there is a space for this parking lot, the place is very peaceful and beautiful. The accommodation is very large, beautiful and very well equipped. The kitchen and bathroom are very clean and well equipped. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The only downside is the curtains are not very blackout and it is clear early in the morning which can wake up when you are not used to it. There are no curtains for the kitchen window that overlooks the street which is less intimate in the evening with the lights. Otherwise overall the accommodation is very good it is close to the station of Nieuw vennep which makes it easy to get to Amsterdam by train. We had a very nice stay and I would recommend the accommodation thank you to Chris,

This stay was perfect! Airbnb was cozy with plenty of activities to do within walking distance.

We had a lovely few days, were able to walk to the beach in a few minutes and also attractions such as the Keukenhof and Space Expo were easy to reach. There are beautiful beach bars right nearby. And delicious fish rolls. So the location is really wonderful ! Parking is rather difficult in the village, but we got 2 parking recommendations, a free little further away and a nearby paid one. The bathroom is a little small (only a sink for kitchen and bathroom) otherwise everything was great for us. Water bowl and game for our dog were also ready. :) very dog-friendly accommodation which was important to us - and dogs are also welcome on the beach! All in all had a great vacation at the property!

Sjeela's house fits very well with our holiday needs: nicely decorated, nice atmosphere, quiet location, fenced garden (also nicely planted), dog welcome, close to walks in nature and on the beach, working appliances and nice contact via the app. For us a 10!

It was lovely staying at this house! Fantastically furnished and all you may need is there. Nice parking space, nice garden and lots of restaurants in the area. A lovely place to come back to with a super friendly host who was always available.

Had a wonderful time! The bungalow is well equipped, cozy, we felt very comfortable! The little grove right outside the door is perfect for a nice round with the dogs. The communication with Jelle and Monique on site was friendly and helpful. Check in went smoothly. We will be happy to come back!

We spent 10 long days in Zaandam while preparing and working in a fair. Margot has been absolutely great in taking care of us, and it's the space was good although smaller than expected (and quite cold even with heating..). Note: you are in Zaandam, not Amsterdam.. but it's a lovely area and very well connected with trains which gets you everywhere but will take around half an hour to get to Amsterdam Central. Quite honestly Zaandam was such a cute town! very pleasant and with everything you need. In case you don't have to go to Amsterdam, you got everything there.. If I'd have to give a feedback, I would personally need a stove in an apartment, even if small (2 stoves are enough) people have to be able to cook for themselves if needed. I missed an home cooked meal! All considered, good stay and great hosts you will be in good hands.
