Monthly Rentals in Sligachan

David and Claire's place is bucolic and serene. Staring out the back door was like watching a painting of rural life. We laughed as we watched the calves play in the hillside pasture. The rooms were thoughtfully decorated and very clean. You have everything you need if you want to make a meal. But why would you when you can go next door to their cafe and have the most AMAZING food on the Isle of Skye? My husband and I are tough customers when it comes to restaurants, but one taste of the corn and spring onion fritters, and I pre-ordered the cookbook on the spot. David's suggestions and the cabin guidebook were spot on. We hiked the Fairy Pools (get a midge net for your face!) and explored the local spots. Sadly, we had to leave our dog at home, but it is perfectly set up for people traveling with pets. I have already recommended the cabin to friends who are traveling here next year. I hope my travels give me a chance to stay here again.

We had a lovely stay at Tracey’s guesthouse with its amazing views. Had a great meal at the pub as recommended by James, and cooked in the well appointed kitchen our second night. We had everything we needed and appreciated the breakfast provisions so thoughtfully provided. Would highly recommend!

Staying at John and Ann's during our time on the Isle of Skye was a breath of fresh air! The hosts were friendly and super helpful. We felt like welcomed guests in their home. We were sad to leave! The flat was exactly as described and was in a beautiful spot. Loved our time there.

Elizabeth’s house is a traditional house but yet equipped with a huge array of features like dishwasher and washer to keep up with our laundry needs. Toys, basketball and Netflix definitely keep my kids entertained. Most importantly is the jaw dropping view of the sheep and greenery with the Braes in the background when you look out of the window. A friendly and hospitable host who is willing to go the extra mile! 👍
