We were very happy with our stay at Kalliopi's accommodation. Everything was as expected and communication was very easy and helpful.

It was a real experience to stay at Nikos' house, it is very traditional. Mind your head though if you are over 1.80 tall. Nikos is a real super host and I loved every single minute of my two week stay here, but if you're looking for luxury don't book it. If you would like to experience a traditional house on Skyros, you must book it. Everything is on walking distance, if you walk well. Thank you Nikos for your hospitality!

We stayed at the accommodation of a family of four and our stay was really easy and enjoyable. The landlord has taken care of some details in the home that we appreciated and made it easier for us to stay in. The property is in a great location ideal for tranquility and relaxation, but without feeling isolated. After all, it's very close to the country. We enjoyed the beautiful balcony and yard of the home as well as the beach which is a few meters from it. Especially in the afternoon hours it is very pleasant to swim on this beach overlooking a small chapel and the country. We had a great time and would be happy to go back again. We also thank Mrs. Vera warmly for her kind welcome and her pleasant and warm discreet presence.

We where kindly welcomed at Magasia bus stop by Maria and Nikos who where disponible for us during our stay. Cleaning of the rooms every three days was a big + ! Thank you !

Great Olga! She was interested if we had arrived at the house well, she was there when we needed her, she responded immediately and overall it was like she was there. The house is spotless in a great location. The bathroom was a little difficult for us, but everything else pays off! Thanks so much for everything!

excellent host, ideal house location, traditional vibes

We had a wonderful week at Villa Vera. It’s every bit as wonderful as it looks in the photos. Inside: The house is beautifully appointed with just the right mix of character and practical modernity. Vera has thought of everything, more plates and glasses than you could ever possibly need, multiple ice cube trays in both freezers (there is a fridge- freezer behind the bar at the pool as well as in the kitchen), hair dryers, irons, blue tooth speaker for poolside music. I could go on. Outside: Our favourite part. The pool is large and the water warm (I don’t know if it’s a salt water pool but it was very clean and had no chemical smell at all). I definitely recommend using the inflatable chair (supplied of course) for the ultimate in lazy relaxation. An unexpected bonus was watching the local swallows enjoy the pool. They swoop down and just skim the surface of the water before looping around for another run. The first time we saw it we thought it was a freak occurrence but it happens several times a day, every day. The grounds are lovely and extensive, they are also very well kept; automatic sprinklers come on in the evening to make sure they retain the lush greenery of the many plants. One evening, we hosted a small gathering with some friends from Kymi. Drinks and olives by the pool followed by dinner on the (huge) veranda, followed by more drinks watching the moonlight over the sea. Unforgettable. The view is really beautiful. Location: The house is located off the road from Kalimerani to Kymi. Both are probably 30 mins walking distance but we always took the short and easy drive. They’re both well worth visiting with plenty of great places to eat and drink. Despite being the main road between the villages, traffic is negligible, I’d guess a single car every 5 minutes on a busy day, so it’s very quiet. The nearest property is roughly 200 metres away so you’re nice and secluded without feeling like you’re in the middle of nowhere. Hosts and communication: Despite arriving very late due to flight complications we were met by Argiris and his fiancée who showed us around. They were very helpful and always available on WhatsApp/text when we needed any tips on the local area. We didn’t contact them re. any issues with the house as there weren’t any, but I’m sure they would have been similarly responsive if we’d needed them. All in all, this is a fantastic property and we will certainly return.

We had a great stay. The house is really nice and spacious. Kitchen had all the essentials, pool and surrounding area are great and we spend most of the time there. I also liked the barbecue area.

Everything was impeccable! The house and pool were very clean! Quiet and beautiful surroundings and the view from the balcony of the house ideal for relaxing evenings! Equipped with all the essentials and extra! We will definitely be back! Mr.Giorgos, thank you for everything, it was nice to meet you!

The house has a fantastic view of the mountain and the sea, the interior is tastefully decorated in Mediterranean style with a comfortable distribution for several families. We thought the lack of air conditioning would be uncomfortable if there was heat, but the ceiling fans in the bedrooms were enough at night. It is easily accessible by car, a nearby beach, shopping, and a larger village. It may be suitable for a longer stay because there is a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The owner always responded quickly and kindly to any questions or issues that came up, and communication was easy.

This large, beautiful property was the perfect place to host our family of five and our larger family reunion gathering of Greek and American relatives! We enjoyed the many amenities and the expansive views of the peaceful Greek countryside. There are many small villages to explore and nearby coastal restaurants and beaches. Our host was extremely helpful and accommodating and made our visit exceptional. She provided us with food from her garden and thoughtful keepsakes to take home. We will always remember this family reunion trip and this wonderful property and host that helped make it so special!

We had a wonderful stay at Marilou's apartment. It was comfortable, incredibly clean and had everything we needed for our 3 nights away. The view is absolutely fantastic and the balcony was a lovely place to relax. The pool was great and we explored three of the beautiful beaches around the island that Marilou suggested.

The house is located in an abandoned settlement in the hinterland, but easily accessible. It is aimed at people who love nature and enjoy it . It doesn't have amenities like electricity and water but it's beautiful to see the stars at night and light the space with candles. The toilet and the possibility of bathing is an issue that I hope the host will take care of. The interior space is made with care , taking advantage of past objects... Kazantzakis' books, suitcases, oil lamps brought to memory childhood experiences...will be enjoyed by those who want tranquility and have experience living in nature. Stamatia is a very friendly host.

The place is fantastic in an estate overlooking the port of Linaria. The house is very beautiful, functional and tastefully decorated. You feel at home. But most importantly the hosts who gave us genuine hospitality and helped us connect with the history of the island and its inhabitants through their personal narratives. Staying in this place is a unique enjoyable experience!

Our stay at Maki's house was exceptional.He was an extremely accommodating host, meeting us at both check in and departure as well as being available for any questions during our stay. The house is a gem very well decorated, with plenty of space and a great garden, with amazing trees. It was particularly nice to have two bedrooms , very well equipped kitchen you can cook anything.The location is fantastic walking distance from the amazing beach of Kalamitsa and very close to the beautiful port of Skyros.Thanks a lot Makis we΄ll definitely come back.

George and Georgia are wonderful hosts. Their Euphoria House was exactly as described, very neat and clean, very well appointed, very conveniently located. This was a wonderful stay in a quiet part of Skyros.

Emmy's house is very nice with a beautiful terrace and a large garden, and especially just a short walk to the beach! Everything is provided in the kitchen to prepare our meals and the welcome was great! Ideal for visiting Skyros with the family , staying close to the village Xora! Thank you so much Emmy!
