In the middle of West Götalands unspoilt nature with its lakes and forests, near the big lake Vättern, about 5 kilometers from the village of Undenäs and far away from any through traffic, the small country village of Igelstad is located, directly on the lake Unden. The village is a small collection of scattered houses and farms, of which some are permanently inhabited, while others are used as summer cottages. Here, in a large clearing in the forest, the small farm "Nolgården" is situated. The house is a separate, well-equipped classic wooden log house, built in spruce. It was thourougly renovated in 2008. There is a private bathroom, kitchen and private terrace, Internet connection (WLAN) and Amazon Fire TV (Magenta TV). A cozy fireplace and electric heating provide comfortable warmth. Directly from the house you can make nice walks in the unspoilt nature, pick berries and mushrooms, or walk to lake Unden, one of the clearest and most pristine lakes in Sweden. From the house to the west side of the peninsula, there is only 800 meters. Here you can have a swim or enjoy the sunset over Unden. The eastern shore can be reached in quarter of an hour via a forest path. By the shore a canoe lies ready for extensive reconnaissance trips to the beautiful deserted islands and quiet bays. But the area has much more to offer: the romantic Tiveden National Park, Lake Viken, Forsvik and the Göta canal with its locks, and the huge lake Vättern are just a few examples of interesting destinations.

At the top of Billingen's southern tip with a mile-wide view to the south and 500 metres to Herrekvarnsbadet at Simsjön is our newly renovated guest house. The calm, the view and also Billingen's deep forests for hiking and swimming just behind the house. Well-designed accommodation with two larger bedrooms with 160 beds and a smaller one with a bunk bed. The kitchen, as well as the living room with comfortable armchairs and TV. A terrace with awning directly adjacent to the entrance.

The barn at Gåsebacken

Experience the tranquillity of the countryside in our newly built and fully equipped guest accommodation at Gåsebacken. The tranquility, the fresh air and the surrounding forest make it easy to relax. Just outside the door, lovely forest walks await. The building looks like a renovated barn but in the back part hides an apartment with many amenities. Bed linen, towels and final cleaning are included. The apartment is suitable for a weekend, a break from everyday life and a holiday. It is also available for longer stays.
