The cabin has a great location on Randøy in Ryfylke and has a fantastic view over the fjord. Only 200 meters from the cabin there are great fishing and swimming opportunities. A cozy convenience store can be found about one km from the cabin. Eggs, fruits and fresh vegetables can be purchased from farm sales nearby. In the immediate area of the cabin there are several hiking opportunities, there are also opportunities to take a trip in the ski lift an hour's drive away in the winter.

Egen parkering, litt bratt sti (ca 50 m) fra parkering og opp til hytte. 5 minutter til nærmeste busstopp og 15 minutter til kaien der hurtigbåten legger til. Vann med kanoutleie 150 meter fra hytten, 200 meter andre veien til sjøen, tilgang til frilagerutstyr der også. Er det interesse for alpint er det ca en time til sauda og 2,5 timer til røldal.
