It was such a handy location in the middle of town for all you need. The house was really cosy and welcoming with all the facilities we needed. The bed on the top floor was really comfy. The extra touches were appreciated and we loved the cosy decor. It was nice there were good books and games too. The communication from the host was superb. Thanks for a lovely Xmas stay!

First, the town of Kendal and the surrounding country side are the reason why the English language has the words quaint, picturesque, and sublime. A picture perfect setting that surely inspired the aesthetics for the Teletubbies and iconic Windows XP background. On to the tiny mansion: Clean, craftsman like quality, and thoughtfully designed. You’ve never fully understood “less is more” until you’ve cooked dinner, played scrabble, and watched the sunset over the rolling green hills of rural England until you’ve spent a night at this AirBnB. Meet the Dalai Lama, be blessed by the Pope, but you can never attain the same tranquility as is possible when imbibing in the sheep and tranquility filled respite that is this AirBnB. Just what we needed for our base in the lakes. The park over the road was ideal for our 5 year old daughter and to get the dogs out on an evening. Cute and cosy, with everything we needed. The Chinese over the road was delicious. plenty of food options within walking distance, but we were out most of the day and just had takeaway.

Paula made check-in very easy, the apartment was a short walk into the middle of Kendal for food and drink in the evening and it was a short drive if heading to the lakes or the hills. Highly recommend.
