Cumfrey Yurt at Fairy Bell Wood

KimberleyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
It was mine and my partner’s first weekend away together and this place was absolutely amazing!! Such a lovely little yurt on a beautiful bit of land. The surrounding woods were a joy to explore and we honestly couldn’t be happier with our stay. Check-in was so easy and I really appreciated the privacy we were given our entire stay. The inside was so much better than the pictures, loved the flowers and note Emily left for us. It’s the little things that made us feel really welcome and we can’t thank them enough!! We were a bit on the fence about the shower and toilet situation but it ended up being better than we expected so if you’re debating whether it’s a dealbreaker, just go for it! It’s a place we’d love to return to one day and hopefully we’ll be able to! Thanks again to such wonderful hosts!!

Maggie's Caravan Kendal Cumbria

KrizylaRating, 5 stars4 days ago
Me and my friends visited The Lake district and it was a very great experience for all of us! The accommodation was perfect! We have our own peaceful place after our adventures. Necessities provided in the caravan, clean area and beautiful view. Maggie was easy to get hold of, we arrived past our check in time and bless her she still accommodated us. Great experience! Would definitely hire the place again when we come back.GOD bless the host!

Beautiful bespoke lodge - Dog Friendly - Lake edge

MarkRating, 5 stars1 week ago
What a treat. Jen thoughtfully provided a get you in pack with all the makings for a cuppa, good quality ground coffee for the provided cafetiere, hot chocolate and of course milk. toiletries were also provided, as we're the logs for the log burner. Being dog friendly, there is even a fenced off dog exercise field. Definitely worth a return visit Mark & Del

Martindale’s Yard

HelenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My mum and I spent a lovely few days at the cosy little house in Kendal. It was beautifully clean and a perfect location, with two supermarkets almost next door, a couple of cafes down the road and a very short walk to the main town streets. We would both be more than happy to go back for another stay!

The Barn at Blease

JennyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
We absolutely loved our stay at The Barn! Joanna was a fantastic host – warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. She greeted us on arrival, showed us around, and gave great local recommendations. She was also really responsive to messages and flexible when we asked about early check-in and late check-out, which made everything so much easier. The Barn itself is even more beautiful than the photos – cosy, spotless, and full of thoughtful touches like bathroom minis, a great selection of books, and fresh apple juice in the mornings. The welcome manual was clear and helpful, although we didn’t need to refer to it much thanks to Joanna’s warm welcome and explanations. The location is perfect for exploring the Lakes, and the peaceful surroundings made for a great night’s sleep. We only wish we could have stayed longer! Highly recommend staying here – and we’re already hoping to return. Thank you so much Joanna for such a lovely stay!

Contemporary studio with organic swimming pool

FreyaRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful studio. The highlight was definitely the organic, wild-swimming-style pool, absolutely gorgeous for a dip, and made even more magical by swallows swooping down for a drink while we swam. The location is perfect, just 2 minutes from Kendal and a short drive to Windermere, so it’s an ideal base for exploring the Lakes. The studio itself was stylishly decorated with cool, modern vibes and lots of thoughtful touches. The bed was super comfy, the bathroom was lovely with great water pressure, and although there’s no phone signal, the free Wi-Fi was strong and reliable. We really appreciated the little extras. Tea, coffee, fresh milk, and a selection of breakfast bits like fruit, brioche rolls and granola. The host was lovely and friendly, which made us feel so welcome. The setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by meadows, with bunnies, deer, and sheep! So peaceful and idyllic. We would love to come back, it was a truly special place!
