Cottage holiday rentals in Skegness

We stayed in Oak Cottage at Elms Farm Cottages and couldn’t have been happier with our choice. Carol was a fantastic host - very communicative, flexible and helpful and the cottage was perfect - very comfortable and with excellent amenities - all the small things taken care of. We would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back one day.

The house was stunning and situated in a great location. It was perfect for myself, my husband, our three daughters and their partners, our grand-daughter and the dogs. It was well equipped, very clean and spacious. It was our first time using an Aga, which was interesting. The garden was a quiet retreat - a real sun trap - and the perfect place to barbecue. Heacham has lots to offer. The beach was only a short walk away (10-15 minutes) and there was a playground about 5 minutes away. There was a Tesco Express a few minutes walk away and a Boots pharmacy and a large Lidl was not far away. We can recommend the fish and chip shop near the beach. And the doughnuts from the shop next door were fantastic. Amelia was a very friendly and responsive host who communicated quickly and efficiently. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend and would highly recommend a stay at Hope Cottage.

Had such a lovely stay at The Hatchery! It had everything you need and more. The little things were thought about. Really nice quality bedding and towels - and plenty of them! Natalie & family were friendly and kept on top of the hot tub while we were there making sure it had the right chemical levels in etc! It’s a lovely spot for a quiet weekend, near enough to beaches but far enough from the crowds! Lovely!

A beautiful property in lovely surroundings with access to the pool and tennis court. A great location for the coast and local areas, great local restaurants. It’s an amazing place.

We had a wonderful stay here, felt right at home. Plenty of space for the 6 of us, comfortable sofas and beds, plenty of towels for the hot tub. The surrounding area was beautiful with a short walk to the lake. The hosts came back straight away with my many questions and we are getting a date sorted to book back in next year. One point to make is that there is pub down the road that although google said was open, it isn't at weekends. There is a great little cafe though on the lake that is a 5 minute walk away. Easy to get a food shopping order delivered and a really nice touch of a cake and bottle of wine as we were there celebrating Birthdays. Highly recommend this place. Thanks for having us.

We had a wonderful few days in Phillip’s cottage to do many walks with our dog, go geocaching, relax and read. It was the most restorative break for us all and from the moment we checked in everything was great. Phillip was really friendly and told us some of the history around the local properties. Super helpful & a great host. The property was spotless & had all we needed. The hot tub was fab after a days walking and the bed really comfortable. We loved just sitting and watching nature in the garden - so many birds and even one day we saw a wild rabbit. It felt quiet and very private. Highly recommend & hope we will be back!

This was our second year staying at the cottage. Like last time it was a wonderful holiday and we were sad to go. That Cottage feels like a second home to all of us. And we will be coming again next year. The property is beautiful and cosy. The surrounding area makes you feel so relaxed within nature. In the mornings we were able to see a barn owl on the garden fence. If you want somewhere to relax and unwind in the country I cannot recommend The Cottage enough.

A wonderful place to relax. Quality furnishings, fixtures and fittings. We did not want for anything. A lovely private courtyard garden with the added bonus of a hot tub and a safe space for our little dog. We would thoroughly recommend this lovely cottage.

Our 2nd weekend stay with Claire in 7 months. Claire and her team are all friendly and helpful. Accommodation is good and comfortable for the price and has additional recreational facilities on site. Location is very peaceful. Would recommend and we hope to stay again later in the year when we visit family in Skegness again. Thank you Claire & Team.

It was an absolutely lovely cottage. Henny checked that everything was fine after the first night and if I needed anything to make my stay there better.

We had a great few days at the cottage, whilst we explored the local area and coastline. Christine was very helpful and accommodating as we booked at very late notice. Certainly would look to return again in the future.

Was a lovely cottage and a lovely village. Didn’t get a chance to visit the tearoom as it was closed while we were there. Had a lovely meal at the local pub. We enjoyed our stay. Few little details in need of attention.

we thoroughly enjoyed our stay with our dogs and were made to feel very welcome, the cottage was perfect and homely for us all. had great dog walk and dinner at the New Inn all easily walkable from the cottage.

We stayed at Ducks Nest in February and were happy to cone again, this time in Pheasants Roost. Everything was perfect again. We'll definitely look to stop here again when coming to the east coast and highly recommend it.

My family and I - 4 children from age 9 down to a baby had an excellent stay at Lisa's. The location was perfect for us, we could walk into Hunstanton or any car drives were only short to get where we wanted. The beach is very close and we were lucky to be there on the one warm and still day of the week! The rain didn't put us off being busy and we did so much regardless! The house was clean and tidy and provided a great space for all of us. Lisa communicated very quickly and was helpful. Thank you, we had a great time!

Great 1 bedroomed place to stay on the countryside but only a few mins from Grimsby and Cleethorpes. Great host!

The cottage has been planned and presented with excellent attention to detail. The gardens are huge and so well maintained. The gardens have lots of little 'hidden places' and quirky details that add to the whole experience. We loved the location, as it's off the beaten track but, not at the end of a dreadful dirt track but, amidst lovely open fields and with well laid access. Don't expect a million shops or restaurants in walking distance but, nice pubs and food are short drives away. Local town about 20 mins easy drive. A perfect haven for two people looking for peace and quiet.

What a gem - we loved our stay here! Brilliant value for money. Such a beautiful location with a lovely view. It was also very clean and it has such a cosy feel but was very spacious. Emma was such a helpful host. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay. We would definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic experience at the auctioneers cottage. Our hosts had thought of everything we could possibly need for our young children which took so much stress out of packing. Communication was fantastic so we knew exactly what to do on arrival and departure, including all of our parking options. We would be thrilled to come back as it was obvious from the guest book, that so many people do visit more than once. Thank you so much!

Our stay at Thor's Garden Homestead was excellent, this charming property offers a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. The spacious living areas provided ample room to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful surrounding countryside. The location is ideal for exploring the local area, with easy access to scenic walks and attractions. It served as the perfect base for our visits to Lincoln Cathedral and Castle, the International Bomber Command Centre, RAF Coningsby, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, and the nearby coast—Skegness, Sandilands, Sutton on Sea, and Mablethorpe were all within reach. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a peaceful countryside retreat with great access to both culture and coast

The cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable in a lovely, peaceful location. The adults appreciated the wine, and the kids loved their Easter eggs! The weather allowed us to enjoy the garden and the kids had fun with the toys. A perfect location for exploring local walk and bike routes.

We stayed at Clemetis Cottage for one week. We arrived with clear arrival instructions and a wonderful welcome which included all sorts of treats, such as wine and chocolates, the dog even had his own bag of treats, such a lovely start to our trip. The cottage is beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. The kitchen was really well stocked with glasses, crockery and staple foods. I had to work in Lincoln and coming back to the cottage each night was such a treat. The cottage is in a beautiful setting with a tearoom next door, a great pub and lots of country walks. Tealby is a great village and very conveniently situated for visiting the coast and other parts of Lincolnshire. We hope to return, we loved it so much.
