Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Skånevik

Beautiful log home and a wonderful Nordic experience staying in one of the most picturesque and beautiful place just outside Bergen! The house is well equipped, and has everything you need to make you feel at home .. our family loved the experience and will definitely return if we are in the area again!

Rosendal, the nature, the mountains, the culture, the weather. Everything was wonderful. The courthouse, Anita and Dag and the swimming area as well. We had a brilliant long weekend and didn't miss anything. We gladly came back...

We had a great stay at Steinar’s house. It was an unplanned visit while we were on our way to another city. Steinar responded late at night and kindly helped us book the property. The instructions were clear, and the space itself exceeded our expectations. Thank you!

Christine’s place is very well located and we enjoyed walking to all of the sites in Bergen. The apartment is clean, nicely laid out and has everything you need. The beds were very comfortable! We highly recommend!

The house couldn't have been better! We stayed there for five days and used it as a base to explore the island. Both Nina and Leila were fantastic hosts - there was a fire in the fireplace when we arrived, and the house is a great combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern comfort. Nothing was missing! Both Nina and Leila run farms and offer a lot of good things you can order from them. We strongly recommend that you contact them and ask what meat they have. We really hope to be able to go back!

The house is very modernly renovated and beautifully and stylishly furnished. We felt comfortable there. The bed was super comfortable, we slept wonderfully. The location by the lake was super quiet and perfect for switching off. We liked it there, but the house could use a little love in one place or another. Communication with Benjamin was great and he responded quickly to queries.

Beautiful location with unique home. Few quirks in the home but that is part of the charm. They communicated well and fixed a few maintenance issues very quickly. The views from the home and the surrounding area are so beautiful.

Comfortable and convenient place very close to the airport but with a nice rural feel and view of the Bergen Fjord. Stig seemed to be away for the weekend when we stayed but they wasn’t a problem. He’s doing some work on one side of the house and the path to the door is a bit rough and might be a problem for someone with mobility problems. Otherwise recommended.

We had a wonderful stay here. We were in town to hike Trolltunga and this place was conveniently located right at the turn off the main street towards the trailhead, about 13 minutes. The host was very communicative and responsive and had local recommendations for us. Everything was great and we would stay here again. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Hilmar's! He was a very nice and informative host who took the time to show us around the apartment. It was nice and cozy, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. An extra bonus was the small terrace in the garden with chairs and tables, perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun. Highly recommended!

We were delighted to stay at Gunlaug's place for a few nights. The place is spacious, clean, and the check-in very easy. Moreover, the surroundings are magic and close to many natural attractions. Finally, Gunlaug is very kind and helpful, she goes the extra mile to make us feel at home! Very much recommended, we will back :)

We have stayed in Bergrid's house for two days and enjoyed it very much. It is in a quite area, looking out over one of the inlets of the Hardangerfjord. There is a nice waterfall close by. With good weather you have good places to enjoy outside. Stores and restaurants are a bit further away, so get some supplies when you're on the way. The house itself has everything you need and there is sufficient privacy. You do hear some walking going on the higher floor, but not on an annoying level. We do recommend to stay here!

We enjoyed our stay! The apartment was in easy walking distance to many of Bergen’s attractions and we liked having a view of the city. The apartment was quite private for being in the middle of the city. There was some noise heard from tenants in the apartment above, but mostly just footsteps; nothing bothersome.

We had a lovely time and the hosts were super helpful and friendly :)

Marita and Tomas are very nice, warm people. Marita greeted us upon arrival and showed us around and explained things (e.g., how to access the kayaks) in a very clear and unhurried way. They both did a fantastic job communicating with us before our arrival, and provided lots of helpful advice while there (e.g., recommendation of a wonderful restaurant in Bergen). Although Tomas and Marita live on the floor above the Airbnb flat, we never felt “crowded” by them. In fact, at my request, Tomas was able to respond immediately to come down to help us figure out the TV…and he was incredibly good natured about it. Location was terrific, too: close to Bergen and all it offers, including the focal museums, as well as minutes from an excellent University of Bergen arboretum & botanical garden. Highly recommend this place, as well as Tomas & Marita as people!

We had an incredible stay in this beautiful home with breathtaking views of Bergen and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the sight of the city and fjords was a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, close enough to explore Bergen easily yet in a peaceful spot where we could relax and take in the scenery. The large windows and outdoor space allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. The home was spotless with cozy furnishings and all the amenities we needed. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bergen, staying here made our trip even more special and we would love to return.

We spent 10 days at Linda's. The house is very lovingly furnished with everything you need to feel comfortable. Linda was always prompt and friendly to reach. We absolutely recommend Linda's house!

Olav's place is beautiful. We've enjoyed our time here, especially since we were blessed by some of the best weather we've had in Norway. The view is absolutely amazing and it is worth every penny. The house itself is full with everything you need, to make you feel at home for a month. The location is great, quiet, you even get a barbecue in this price! The host, Olav, was also amazing and helped us out with a lot of useful information and he was always proactive to help us. I would recommend his place anytime! I hope we shall come again! Had a great stay in the cabin over a weekend. Just a few minutes' drive from Mikkelparken, which was the main destination of our trip to Kinsarvik. The cabin is idyllically located among the apple orchards, and I had some quiet moments with fishing down by the fjord, while our boys had fun rolling down the hill and jumping on the trampoline that was available to us. Beautiful cottage and surroundings – highly recommended!

Peaceful location with a beautiful view of Bergen. Feels cozy and private, yet still provides quick access to the city. Cozy living area and heated floors in the bathrooms made us not want to leave!

Wonderful location in the heart of Bergen - perfect for waking to just about anything. Kristin was helpful and responsive and we had a wonderful stay!

We were 6 adults and 5 kids here for a weekend. It was absolutely phenomenal for both adults and small and big enough that we felt we had a lot of room around us. It was adapted to the smallest ones as well, with stair gates and little pø that could be ruined. There were also toys in the room above the garage so the little ones could bike and slide slide. Recommended!
