Tree house - in the heart of nature

In a forest edge on our farm overlooking vast fields, you can enjoy seclusion surrounded by the branches and foliage of the trees. The simple building stands on a plateau 2-3 meters above the ground between tree trunks. The branches of the trees form a roof over the small patio with a simple outdoor kitchen in front of the tent. You are completely off the grid but have access to a refrigerator and electricity at our farm where you can park, or borrow a cooler for food you bring with you. Private toilet with dry toilet and outdoor shower is 100 meters from the property.

Private entrance, you only have access to the lower floor but no one lives on the upper floor. Garden with barbecue and outdoor furniture – all to yourselves. family friendly semi-detached house about 1.5 km from the center of Mariestad. On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms . 1 double bed and 3 x 90 beds are distributed in the bedrooms . Downstairs there is another bedroom with 1st 90 bed . So, in total, there are 4 bedrooms with 5 beds. Outdoors, there is a grill, hot tub, trampoline, and lovely outdoor furniture when in season. Lakeside cottage in Brommösund, 25 minutes outside Mariestad, close to Lake Vänern on the island of Torsö, with swimming, lake views, tranquillity, hiking and boat excursions. Cosy cottage with a partial lake view and a beautiful view of the surrounding nature and meadows, 6 beds in two cottages, large terrace, barbecue, wood-burning stove and 150 metres to the swimming beach. There is an option to rent a smaller boat. Close to hiking trails, a restaurant, nature reserve and wildlife. Bed linen, towels and parking are included.

On the ground floor, there is also a bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide) and a toilet with shower. With a stepladder, you can get up to the cozy sleeping loft, which is equipped with two adjacent 90 cm beds. A warm welcome.

Cabin on a farm near Göta Kanal

Cottage next to our farmhouse on the farm with cowshed around the corner for rent. 600 meters from Göta Canal and Hajstorp locks. You will live in an old grain warehouse that has just been converted into a comfortable small accommodation for four people. One more person can fit if two people share a 120 cm bed or if you make the sofa bed. Horses and cows are nearby, so there are also flies. Sometimes you can hear tractors and there is a smell of manure during spring and autumn farming 😃.

About this space The cottage is located 4 km from Sjötorp and 10 km from Lyrestad. You can easily reach both villages by bike. Göta Canal runs through them, offering cozy cafés, restaurants, grocery stores, swimming spots, and museums. In the pictures, you can also see the beautiful sea buckthorn area, just a 10-minute bike ride away. A perfect getaway for nature lovers, families, or travelers passing through. Bicycles are available for rent.

Enjoy the sounds of nature while staying at this unique place. Located completely secluded with its own bathing jetty. In the river Tidan. Wood-fired hot tub with river water. Rowboat with electric motor, crayfish fishing. Tidan's Å water has a brown color from the forest and soil, wonderful to swim in. In the house there is a drilled well with drinking water. Save on the water in the house as the water level can be low some years.

Rural torp idyll

Here there is peace and quiet, in surroundings that seem to come from an Astrid Lindgren fairy tale. You live next door to fields, forests and pastures, at the foot of Kinnekulle. The cottage is directly adjacent to the Vänerleden and 1.5 km away connects to the Biosfärleden. Proximity to Kinnekulle's hiking trails, mountain bike tracks and cultural attractions. Both Skara Sommarland and Läckö Castle are within a few miles.
