Casa da Encosta is located in the picturesque Aldeia do Penedo, on the hills of Sintra facing the Atlantic. The nearby beaches (Adraga, Praia Grande, Praia das Maçãs and others) are just 5 km away. This two bedroom house (plus a mezzanine) dates from the 1930’s and was passionately renovated in 2023 by Katrin Kaasa and Duarte Amaral Netto, your hosts. The house maintains the spirit of a cabin (low ceiling in the kitchen and some doors) but was carefully designed for comfort and stylish details.

Our apartment is located in the heart of Quinta da Beloura near Sintra, a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Surrounded by golf camps, you will be close to historic monuments and the beloved cities of Cascais and Lisbon. Pool only available from 1 Mar - 31 Oct. Pool not heated, but good temperature in summer. The villa can accommodate max 4 adults + 2 children (12 + above). 2 bedrooms (queen and kings size), 2 bathrooms. 5 minutes walk from Sintra Station. It offers a private outdoor pool (for guests' use on the booking only), with a private fruit garden. Views include mountain views of the Moorish Castle. Central and within walking distance to many cafes, shops and restaurants

Collares Sintra Petit Palais CB

Collares-Sintra Petit Palais is part of a historic villa in Colares, between the sea and the mountain, in the Natural Park of the Serra de Sintra, UNESCO Cultural Landscape. It is the old Town Hall building, former Court and is located on archaeological ground in what is thought to be the first castle of Sintra, built before the year 1000. It was fully rehabilitated in the year 2024, and aims to provide our guests with the best experiences, in a calm and engaging place.

Casa do Forno (Oven House) - Quinta Velha

Quinta Velha, meaning “old farm”, lies in a private forest between Sintra’s old town and the historic monuments perched on the mountain top. In 2020 a significant multi-year renovation project was completed, converting the old stables and summer residence into a modern private family home, deeply respecting all existing historic features. A century old chapel with unique panels of traditional hand-painted tiles and fountain add to the beauty of the natural setting.

Sintra Garden

Apartment with private terrace located in the historic center of Sintra. It is tucked away on a quiet street, but a one minute walk to the Sintra National Palace, restaurants and shops. There is free parking about a two minute walk away. The apartment was fully renovated in 2024, has a full kitchen, spacious bathroom and comfortable bed. The terrace has a table and chairs for enjoying coffee in the morning or sharing a bottle of wine in the evening.

Quinta Maresia 2 - tiny house close to beach

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. With the beach only 400 meters away, this tiny house is situated in the middle of Portuguese nature, in a quiet side street. This tiny sized home is made of a 20 feet shipping container. It has a living room area in the entrance with a sofa that flips into a 120 cm day bed. The bathroom is complete with a shower. The bedroom in the end is equipped with a 140cm x 190cm bed.

Casa do Anjo

Casa do Anjo is a three-bedroom house, fully furnished and equipped, situated between Praia das Maçãs and the village of Azenhas do Mar. All rooms have pool and sea view. A short 7-minute walk takes you to Praia das Maçãs, one of Sintra's best-known beaches that attracts families and surfers all year round. You can also reach easily and quickly (a 12-minute walk), to the charming village of Azenhas do Mar.
