Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

Il faisait beau et tout est toujours plus agréable quand le soleil brille mais dans tous les cas : - maisonnette très agréable, cosy - terrasse donnant directement sur l'étang (passionnantes conversations avec les canards du coin) - arrivée très facile et hôte réactif - superbe couché de soleil pour bien terminer la journée tout en mangeant sur la terrasse.

Wir hatten tolle Tage im Haus von Richard! Die Lage ist exzellent, schön ruhig und mit dem See natürlich super zum erfrischen. Wir hatten das Boot dazu gemietet und auch eine schöne Zeit auf dem Wasser und dem größeren See verbracht. Das Haus hat alles was man braucht, klimatisierte Räume waren perfekt an den heißen Tagen. Das zusammensitzen auf der Terrasse am See am Abend, super! Mit dem Haus macht man absolut nichts falsch und würden es immer wieder buchen.

Die Wohnung ist super, aber das absolute Highlight ist die Terrasse auf 3 Seiten des Hauses, direkt am Wasser. Die großen Glasfronten im Wohnzimmer geben den Blick aufs Wasser frei, was die Wohnung auch bei kühlen Temperaturen besonders macht. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass man am liebsten keinen Ausflug machen möchte, sondern nur in der Wohnung bleiben möchte.

We loved our stay here and if we returned to the Netherlands we would stay here again. A very comfortable house, wonderful big soft bed, clean kitchen and lovely shower. A beautiful outside space too- we loved it. Excellent stay

One of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed in! It was spotlessly clean (not a speck of dust anywhere!), everything had been thought of (including a welcome bottle of bubbles!), it was spacious, and very convenient for public transport....oh, and stylishly decorated! Being close to the train station meant that we could easily get into central Amsterdam, as well as go on day trips to Rotterdam and Zaanse Schans during our stay. Our favourite day was renting bikes in Zaanse Schans for the day and enjoying cycling through the countryside. Very happily recommend this place to others looking for a base near Amsterdam.

Erg mooie locatie, heel dicht bij t centrum. Belangrijk om te melden is dat er geen parkeerplaats is voor de auto. 500 meter verderop is een gratis parkeerplaats. Wij vonden dit geen probleem. Eerst de bagage afzetten en dan de auto naar de parkeerplaats brengen, ging goed (eenrichtingsverkeer). Het huisje is modern en gezellig ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien! Treinstation en bushalte zijn vlakbij om de verdere omgeving met t OV te verkennen. In de tuin staat een schuurtje waar je evt je eigen/gehuurde fietsen kwijt kunt. Het is een rustige omgeving en toch dichtbij t centrum! Heerlijke plek en zeker een aanrader.

Beautiful cottage. very very very clean and tidy. has literally everything you need. would be absolutely wonderful to stay at in summer due to the private outside space. My only negative was that for me the Internet didn't work. I make alot of calls via WiFi due to work and I was unable to connect on any of my devices. Apart from that would recommend without question.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was exactly what we needed , clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. They really made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough positive things about our stay at Kevin and Kim's beautiful home. The place was fantastic and exactly as advertised. We felt right at home immediately in their immaculately clean home. It had everything we needed for a quick getaway. It was close to busses, the grocery store and the lovely shops and promenade in Volendam on the water. Amsterdam was only a 20 minute bus ride. Kevin greeted us with a smile and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Truly a great experience. I would book with Kevin and Kim in a heartbeat again should our travels return to Volendam.

Tout d’abord,Alex ,Liz et leurs parents sont vraiment très chaleureux et bienveillants pour leurs hôtes. Ils sont joignables à tout moment. Grâce à leur accueil,nous nous sommes sentis tout de suite en vacances. L’appartement est très agréable et décoré avec soins et bon goût. La cuisine est bien équipée et ensoleillée pour prendre son petit déjeuner et commencer une belle journée. Le jardin est magnifique et il y a plein de petits coins discrets où l’on peut se poser. C’était une parenthèse enchantée et nous espérons bien revenir.

Lovely apartment, very easy to find and very clean and comfortable. Great location on the waterfront and close to bus station. Easy walk to town and lots of cafes / restaurants. Shafieq was really responsive and helpful and gave very clear instructions on check-in.

Sehr schöne Wohnung in Appartementanlage, Obergeschoss (Achtung-steile Treppen!), abgeschieden, inmitten der Dünen gelegen und demnach sehr ruhig. Gute Ausstattung, sehr sauber. Zwei Balkone, die eine traumhafte Aussicht auf den Strand und das Naturschutzgebiet ermöglichen. Sehr freundliche Vermieterin; die Kommunikation war super angenehm und unkompliziert. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Geweldig uitzicht op het water en de voorbijgaande schepen. In tegenstelling tot een andere recensie: heerlijk dikke zachte handdoeken. Een lang weekend genoten.

Très bel appartement avec une vue magnifique dans un village tellement agréable et paisible. Très bien desservi pour aller dans Amsterdam , le bus est à une dizaine de minutes à pied.

Mes trois enfants et moi avons passé un excellent séjour dans la belle petite maison de Noor et Mat. Tout était conforme à la description et la communication avec les hôtes était très facile et rapide. Le logement se trouve près d'un lac. La proximité de l'eau est très apaisante et l'environnement est très agréable. C'est un endroit idéal pour se reposer, faire du vélo ou des promenades et un bon point de départ pour la visite de villes comme Gouda, Utrecht, Rotterdam ou Amsterdam. Nous recommandons ce logement.

Lovely stay at Rudis cottage.After two weeks travelling around Europe we wanted a couple of night to relax and this was the perfect place. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay and Rudi even brought us a fan when the temps hit 31 and the place was so hot. We were lucky to have a storm and be able to watch out over the nature reserve was amazing. We also ate at De Heeren van Maarssen nearby and the food was beautiful.

Das Haus war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und bot alles, was wir brauchten, um uns wie zu Hause zu fühlen. Die Aussicht war atemberaubend und wir konnten viele schöne Sonnenuntergänge genießen. Der Gastgeber war immer erreichbar und hat uns hilfreiche Empfehlungen gegeben, die unseren Aufenthalt bereichert haben. Wir können diese Unterkunft jedem empfehlen, der eine unvergessliche Reise erleben möchte.

John ist sehr freundlich und die Wohnung hält das, was sie auf den Fotos verspricht. Johnnist immer gut erreichbar und kontaktiert einen auch Proaktiv. Danke John, für die schöne Zeit in deinem Cottage 😊

Nous avons passé un séjour parfait. Richard nous accueille avec beaucoup d’enthousiasme et un merveilleux petit chien qui viens aussi vous faire un accueil festif 🥰 Concernant l’environnement, c’était tout simplement magnifique, que ce soit autour (lac, plage, promenade, chouette petit village) ou le terrain autour de la maisonnette. Rien de mieux que pour se ressourcer en nature dans un cadre exceptionnel. (Une petite barque est mise à votre disposition pour les plus aventuriers ;) ) Pour ce qui concerne l’hébergement, il n’y avait rien à dire sur la propreté, fidèle aux photo excepté que nous nous attendions à avoir deux chambres distinctes. Il y avait en effet deux grands lits cependant l’un d’entre eux se trouveraient sur la mezzanine (donc pièce ouverte). Excepté cela, nous avons adorer notre séjour et reviendrons ! N’hésitez pas si vous avez besoin d’un petit séjour à la nature (+ à 40min seulement d’Amsterdam)

Coup de cœur pour Edam, le lieu est incroyable, tellement beau , paisible et à la fois si proche de tout ! La maison de Nicolas est très jolie et fidèle à la description, on s y est sentit très vite bien. Nous avons été accueilli par Nicolas qui est un hôte très amical . Nous avons trouvé les gens en Hollande d une gentillesse incroyable . Nous avons visité surtout Amsterdam pendant ses 3 jours mais en réalité il y a tellement à voir qu on compte bien y retourner. La gare routière est réellement à une minute à pied et on peut aller sur Amsterdam direct en 20 min . On ne peut pas régler les tickets de bus ,tram en espèces il faut que les adultes et chacun leur carte bleue ce qui nous a un peu déconcerté au départ. Après les journées de marches intensives arriver sur Edam le soir dans la maison de Nicolas boire un verre dans la cour près du canal était très très agréable.

We hebben een geweldig verblijf achter de rug in de tiny house. Mariska is een fijne host met een geweldige communicatie. Zeker een aanrader. Nog een culinaire tip: ga eten in het Grand Cafe Kade. Heerlijke vis, topbediening.

Es ist eine wunderschöne Unterkunft mit Blick direkt auf den See. Die Unterkunft ist klein aber sie bietet alles was man braucht und wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohl gefühlt. Es gibt auch einen Parkplatz direkt gegenüber und sehr gute Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Es war ein Traum jeden Tag mit Blick auf den See aufzuwachen. Wenn das Wetter mitspielt kann man dort auch baden gehen. Kommen definitiv wieder :)
