Monthly Rentals in Singers Glen

We stayed at the Farmhouse for our annual “Sisters weekend” with my 3 sisters and our young kids. The house has old charm with modern amenities. There was plenty to entertain the kids ages 1.5-5, from games, toys, and a huge yard to run and play in. They really made traveling with kids easy with all the extra stuff they provide (pack and play, high chair, kids plates/silverware, and toys). The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. We enjoyed the fire pit on two nights and it was the perfect setting for a spring evening. The only surprise was that the second floor bathroom was inside of one of the rooms. So you had to go in someone else’s room if you needed it during the night. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but just something to be aware of depending on who you are traveling with.

Eric's place was great for our Girl's Weekend! Plenty of room for 2 people! Views from the house were beautiful! Additionally, Eric was flexible with our check in when we needed to get in a few minutes early! We would definitely stay here again!

Jayne’s place is charming, comfortable and beautifully decorated. From the time we entered we felt right at home. The extra touches that she provided, snacks, water bottles, restaurant recommendations, were greatly appreciated. Jayne responded quickly to our request to rent, and communication was great throughout our stay. Jayne’s directions to enter the apartment were easy to follow. We had access to the deck and a beautiful patio in a quiet wooded setting. We would love to call this our home way from home when we visit family in Harrisonburg.

Not only is Elvin and Sandra’s home better than advertised, their hospitality is unmatched. The home is beautifully restored and functions as well as any modern home. Elvin and Sandra are such thoughtful hosts - we can’t wait to come back!
