Absolutely wonderful find!!! Elk! Deer! Super quiet and peaceful surroundings. The house had everything needed to cook wonderful meals. The couch was fantastic for lounging on while enjoying the wood burning stove. If you’re looking for a place that is close to town, this will not be your place. It takes close to an hour to get to Montrose. Be sure to get all of your groceries and supplies before heading to the cabin. If you’re looking for solitude, you found the holy grail! I’d, absolutely, stay here again!!!!

Amazing location on the edge of Lake City town center. Easy parking, easy entry, fun & interesting decor and SUPER easy 5-min drive to the Ice Park. Stay at one of Ben's Basecamp locations and you won't be disappointed. He's excellent with communication, and a heck of a nice guy. He ALSO happens to spend his time maintaining the Ice Park, so support this guy and his operation.

The cabin is beautiful, as is the location. We felt like we were familiar with the cabin, even though this was our first time visiting it. That is thanks to the atmosphere and information provided before and after arrival. This was our first air bnb type venture of any kind and thanks to this experience, we will probably choose this option again...very possible at this cabin! Loved it.

This is absolutely my favorite airbnb ever! We more than enjoyed our stay! The actual house is so beautiful and unique and so cozy. The shower is absolutely beautiful and there are so many small details that are so thoughtful. Not to mention all the friendly pets that greeted us! The property is so beautiful and it feels so private. We would stay here ANY time and couldn’t recommend it enough!
